Chapter Seven: A Night Out on the Town, Take Two

Author's Note: For the next few chapters, I just wanted to have a little fun with them doing dating stuff. This is technically the longest chapter of my story but only because I posted the lyrics of multiple songs they sing at karaoke night. Otherwise, it won't be that long. Enjoy!

Another week of internships and classes at UA had come and gone and the eagerly anticipated night for when Izuku and Ochako would have their first date as a couple arrived. Though they texted each other a few times a day and saw each other in class a little bit here and there, there was no time for flirting or shooting the breeze since they needed to stay on top of their homework and training.

But not tonight! Now was the time for some romance between the two and some well earned relaxation from a tough day of joint training.

Since Ochako was confident that Yaoyorozu would keep their secret between her and Deku safe, she revealed their plans to go on another date together...as a couple! However, Ochako also needed a small favor to ask. Her budget didn't allow much in the ways of a decent dating wardrobe, so she hoped that Momo could either take her shopping, or make some new clothes for her through her quirk.

"Ah how cute! Of course I'll help you with that Ochako-chan! What sort of clothes did you have in mind? Something more formal or casual nice?" 

"As much as I'd love to borrow one of your elegant dresses, I don't want to let on to other people yet that Deku-kun and I are a thing now. Besides, it's more my style to just have a nice blouse and skinny jeans. I wouldn't mind getting a new purse to match though!"

Momo beamed with excitement. "I wish we had time to go shopping together, but since your date starts in another hour and a half, I know just the outfit that would be perfect for you!"

She brings out a green blouse and matching purse. "It's obvious that his favorite color is green, so you know he'll love seeing you in this!" Ochako quickly nodded in agreement. 

"Thanks so much Momo-chan! You've been such a huge help!" 

"Oh don't mention it! In fact, keep it! I can easily make another if I want to wear it again!" 

They give each other a quick hug and part ways. Ochako beams with excitement as she thinks about their coming date and can't wait to see the look on Deku's face when he sees her this way.

Izuku, however, was stressing about their coming date. Since he and Uraraka were now an official couple, he wanted to step it up a little. He slicked his hair back the best he could, put on a new shirt that he bought to dress up in and a bottle of cologne in hopes that she'd like the scent, but still wondered if that was enough. Ochako already made herself look so pretty on their last date that was ruined by Stain and he wanted her to feel like he was making the effort for her too. Well, here goes nothing! He thought.

The two of them did their best to leave the dorms as discreetly as possible and somehow succeeded. But now came the tough part for Deku. They spotted one another and she waived him down and his heart started pounding. 

The closer she got, the more red in the face he became, but Ochako was almost equally red when Izuku got closer. "U-Uraraka-san, y-you look amazing!!" 

"Oh my gosh, Deku-kun! I love your slicked back hair! You sure do smell nice!" 

"Uh, t-thanks! Well, shall we head off to the Mochi shop you like?" 

"You bet! I've been waiting for this all day!" He takes her hand and they start walking.

Izuku didn't want any long awkward pauses this time so he immediately brought up their internships. "So how did it go with Tsu-san and Ryukyu-sensei yesterday?"
