One week after texting Uraraka for the first time since the break up, Midoriya just returned from his most recent intern shift and was still waiting for her to respond. He almost wanted to try to text her again himself but figured that it was a bad move, especially since she was still avoiding him in class and other social settings.

To get his mind off of it, he decided to look in greater detail at his One For All dossier from All Might to study the other users. With this information in his thoughts, he began to doze off and then completely fell asleep.

As he slumbered, he felt as though some sort of vision had begun around him. Everything around him looked cloudy and hazy. Little by little seven different personages began to form and become more distinct. Eventually Izuku began to recognize All Might's master Nana. She was the first to speak to him. "Welcome Midoriya-san. We're glad that you've finally made it here."

He looked at the other personages and marveled at each of them. He knew nothing about any of them save the dossier that talked about them, yet the longer he looked at them, the more he could see into each of their pasts and what they endured while holding One For All.

"Um, what is this? Why am I just now able to talk with you? Are you the one that said 'love is the answer' to me in my dream?" Just then a large and imposing figure got up to speak. The fifth user Daigoro Banjo, who originally used black whip got in Deku's face.

"Just listen up kid! We don't have time for this!"

"It's okay Banjo-san, anyone would naturally be curious if this happened to them." Said Nana. "But he's right, so I'll make this quick. I am indeed the one who told you in your dream 'love is the answer.' But it has multiple meanings. Love is what enabled you to gain full control over each of our powers to use at will. This is why we can now communicate in this manner. Before this we could only leave subtle hints through dreams or premonitions. Love is also what will help you save the people you care most about in the coming days.

"Midoriya-san, we sense a great threat on the horizon. It may be my grandson Tomura who is behind it, so we needed to get you up to speed on how our different abilities work. Most importantly, we need to know where you stand in your resolve. Do you...have it in you to kill Shigaraki if the situation calls for it?"

Izuku gasps. In the back of his mind he had a feeling that he might have to do that one day but he never thought his own relative would ask him that.

"I want to say yes, but when he and I had our first encounter together, I could sense someone suffering underneath all that malicious hatred that he exudes."

Banjo senses where this is going and interrupts him.

"Look kid, you know why my quirk was manifesting itself onto you when you were angry? Because when I was using One For All, I was constantly angry too! All For One was using the same manipulation tactics then with other people that he's using now on that kid. He caused so much suffering and destruction to people across the globe and especially to those closest to me. Seeing this all the days of my life fueled the anger inside of me to make this ability strong enough to one day put an end to his life!

"It's noble and all that you want to try to save him, but he's become a great threat to our way of life and simply wants to see the world burn! Love is the answer, sure, but sometimes you need to love someone enough to know when they need to be put out of their misery."

Nana resumes speaking with tears in her eyes.

"He's right. Tomura Shigaraki is my grandson, and he became this way because I left his father at a young age to fight All For One. This is the result of my actions. It's terrible of me to ask this of you because of how young you are, but if Tomura reaches his full potential, no one will be able to stop what comes next! By then he would be the manifestation of pure evil. Can you tell me you have the will to stop him at all costs?"
