WARNING!! MANY SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOURE AN ANIME ONLY VIEWER OR AREN'T ALL THE WAY CAUGHT UP WITH THE MANGA!!

Author's Note: I didn't think I'd end up writing anything else for the IzuOcha ship, but I just couldn't sit back and watch the injustice of the most wholesome ship I've ever observed in a long time not get a proper sendoff! Think of this chapter as an extended version of Chapter 429 because it will include some scenes of 428 and some additional material that I was hoping to see but didn't. (Seriously, when I read the actual chapter 429 and saw Dark Shadow spot Deku and Ochako as they were about to float up in the air and then the rest of the class saw them too, I actually said out loud "Ah man! Come on! This is their big moment! Let them be alone for a while!" Anyway, without further ado, here's my version. Enjoy!)

__________

The final battle had come and gone a few weeks ago and things were gradually starting to return to normal in society. Class was in session again at UA high school, the students had been busy doing service projects and everyone was ready to move on.

Or were they?

The past couple of days, Tsuyu Asui and Izuku Midoriya had noticed that Ochako Uraraka had been rather quiet and passive. She had many of her usual bubbly moments, but something about it seemed off, as if she was forcing herself to act that way.

It was 7:00 PM and earlier in the day Ochako said she needed to return home for a while. Given her previous behavior, the class started to get concerned about her. Then Asui revealed more bad news.

"Guys, I'm scared for Ochako-chan! Kero! She was acting strange all day today. She also normally reads my texts and responds to them pretty fast but my phone says she hasn't even read them yet and that was over an hour ago!"

Izuku bolted up out of his chair. "I've felt the same way. I didn't want to pester her about it but I've just had a feeling in my bones that she needs help with something. We better go out and look for her! I have a hunch where she might be."

"Ok, I'll gather our classmates that are available and have them look for her too. Kero!"

__________

Uraraka stood atop a cliff that had an excellent view of the city. She had gone there several times before for solitude and reflection. She still had a brave face on but cracks were starting to show.

It just occurred to me, that day...there was no camera to capture the end of my fight with Toga. I wonder how society would've reacted to our conversations if they had? Would people like Toga finally be able to stop suffering?

Hmm...well, on a different note, the city scrapes are looking back to normal already. Little by little, things are taking a positive turn. What a relief! Feels like nothing has gotten better in a while. It's like the sun is setting and the shadows are growing long. Unlike those other times, it's really over now. Everything is settled, and that's a good thing.

The world's facing forward and ready to bring it all back. I love that everyone is smiling again. And I don't want to be a party pooper. That's why...just like before, I need to deal with all this lasting pain...by shutting it all away.

Tears were beginning to flow. She felt heavy and her heart was hurting inside her chest. The sniffles kept happening and the dam was about to burst. Just then a figure swooped up from the cliff at lightning speed. She'd recognize that cute messy green hair and freckles anywhere, but for the first time ever, she wished he wasn't there.
