A year and half later,
"Congratulations! You are going to be an aunt." Nat sent in a text to Izzy along with a photo of the ultrasound and a pregnancy announcement photo of her and Steve.
She smiled at her phone, and replied back "Congrats!"
Later that night, around 3 AM she got an unexpected phone call.
"Izzy get in the car and get up here now. Mom is in the hospital, she left a burner on the kitchen is burnt up." Steve yelled into the phone.
"Oh my god!" She said as she quickly got dressed and packed a bag.
When she arrived later that morning, the doctor told her that she had gotten worse. And they all agreed it was best to put her in a home for Alzheimer's patients. Izzy packed up her mom's things.
"Izzy need help." Bucky said as he came in.
"Not from you no." She said
"Izzy..don't be like that." He said
She rolled her eyes and zipped the suitcase and walked out. She and Steve made sure she was comfortable. Sarah kept asking for Joe, and that broke both of their hearts.
