A year later
"Hey Steve.." Bucky said into his phone.
"Is it a bad time? I know today is your day off." Steve said
"No, we are at the doctor's. But he isn't in here yet." He said
"I just wanted to let you know that mom is gone. She passed in her sleep last night the nursing home just called me. I have already called Izzy and your parents." Steve said
Bucky had tears welling, "I'm so sorry Steve. Just let me know when everything is." He said and hung up.
"Buck what's wrong?" Caroline said
"Sarah passed away.." he said
She looked down, "She was like my second mom she practically raised me and my siblings." He said as he wiped tears.
The doctor came in to tell them that they were in fact expecting baby #2.
A week later, was the funeral. Bucky found Izzy alone on the back porch of her parents house.
"I'm so sorry Izzy.." he said as he went to hug her.
"Don't.." she said and walked away.
