Chapter 14 - The Plan

A few days later, Technoblade and Philza stood in the meeting hall by the table. Wilbur entered it and joined them.

"Anything about Tommy?" He asked looking around them.

"No...We've sent some guards to look for him about the town but so far nothing."

"*sigh* I hope he's ok... anyway Wilbur, we have a rough plan and backup for incase he attacks. We were thinking of gathering up people from the town who are willing to volunteer for the army just in case we don't have enough and he's army is bigger than we think. I sent some spies yesterday and they returned and told me that their army was still preparing. We maybe have about two to two and a half weeks until he reaches here. Do you think we'll have enough time to train some archers and cavalry? If we can I'm going to have majority of the soldiers we have now be footmen." Technoblade said while referring to spots on the map in front of them with marker points.

"I can train archers very quickly, Father, Do you think you could train the cavalry?"

Philza didn't respond.

"Uhm... Father?"

"hmm? OH... uhm yeah, I can train the cavalry, sorry I've been thinking about Tommy a lot."

Tommy stood by the windowsill looking outside and observing the town streets.

"Morning Tommy!" Tubbo said going past his room door behind him.

"Good morning Tubbo!"

"You coming down for breakfast?"

"Yup, will be down soon, thanks!"

"Tommy, what will happen if the palace finds you?" Tubbo said serving an egg to the plate in front of Tommy

"Well I guess I go back home then"

"But like won't you get punished?"

"Well, maybe but the entire reason I'm doing this is because well, they said they didn't want me so I'm not going to be there"

"This other kingdom... do you know the name?"

"No I don't, but myfather has told me about it and it seems to be ruled by a really harsh man. Saidhe treats his own kingdom like trash and won let anything get in his way. Hisflag is a smiley face."

"Well, he sounds shit"

"Tubbo, if you don't mind, what was your father like?"

"Well, I don't really know what he's like, but mother used to always tell uswhat he did look like. He's a scruffy man and didn't care much for anything butpolitics. He has my same hair, dark brown with sideburns and a bit of chin hairand brown eyes. Apparently always wore a suit whenever he went out too. Mymother said he also had something else but didn't want to tell us what it was."

"Did you ever want to meet him?"

"No, not really I don't care for him."

At that moment a horn was played outside.

"Oh it's the notice horn, wonder if they're going to tell everyone you'remissing" Tubbo said looking out his window. "You stay here Tommy, I'll go outand see what they're telling about. See you in a bit." Tubbo said and left thehouse with his coat.

"Alright thanks." Tommy watched Tubbo leave to the town square and stand amongthe other citizens. Tommy expected the usual notifier but instead saw Wilbur.

"Citizens we have some alarming news. King Technoblade, Guardian Philza and I,have received notice that an unidentified kingdom may be working its way for awar between us. We apologize for telling this so late, but we are here today toask if any of you folk are volunteering for fighting alongside us. Volunteer'srequirements are above age 15 and below 60 and have no mental or physicalillness. We will be training for archers and cavalry mainly so we are asking ifpossible for hunters to volunteer. If you wish to volunteer please gather atthe courtyard today evening at 4 sharp. For the remaining citizens we will bemaking an underground shelter for them to hide out in during the war. We hopeyou join us in this and fight along with us to victory. L, Manburg will liveon!"
Wilbur finished his announcement from there and returned back to the palace.Immediately the entire crowd started to talk with each other. Only Tubboslipped away and returned to his home.

"Well, stuff went down" He said hanging his coat on a knob behind the door.

"Yeah, I heard. I'm honestly surprised that Wilbur didn't... didn...." Somethingmade Tommy pause as he looked out the window again.

"Tommy? What's the matter?"

"SH*T ITS WILBUR AND HIS MEN" Tommy said and drew the curtains over the window."He must've found out I'm here!"

"Come on Tommy, I'll help you." Tubbo said and grabbed Tommy's arm and ranupstairs. There was a hallway that the stair entered and by the end of thehallway was a window.

"Tommy stay here on the edge. And if you hear him come upstairs jump out. Itsok I've jumped out there before. The grass breaks your fall."

Tommy nodded and got onto the window sill listening carefully what washappening down there. A huge knock came on the door and Tommy heard Tubbo openit.
