The climb down the mountain was silent. Tommy and Technoblade carried Wilbur down the steep hill. Philza carried Dream on his back, his wings acting as a grip on him. Tubbo and Ranboo helped each other down and the rest of the army followed. Coming to the bottom of the hill the remaining soldiers mounted their horses and gathered the other horses that once belonged to the entire army. With Ranboo leading the way again everyone headed back to L, Manburg.

Tommy had Wilbur sit in front of him on his horse and held him between his arms while holding onto the horse lead. Philza flew along with the army with Dream on his back and still holding onto the arms. On their way back, the family knew that they had won in a way, but it didn't feel like it. They may have won the actual war but Dream still won. He bought pain and mourn among them. The suffering for their lost member didn't finish though the fight had. The journey back had to be quick for Dream would soon gain conscious and Wilbur's body would start to rot but they didn't want to head home. They didn't want to go home and face all the new objectives. They wanted to be here in the snow plains with no worries. They wanted it to be like none of this had happened. On their way back they planned on what to do when they arrived home.

On their way back Philza felt Dream moving on his back. Notifying the others he immediately landed among them that had stopped to see if Dream would wake up and if so, what they should do. He moved around a bit but didn't wake up, as if he was bothered during his sleep and had ignored to wake up. Giving a sigh of relief the others continued their journey, but not after tying Dream's hands together. Philza and the others took off again. They were able to travel faster than earlier with less men and after a few hours and the sun was about to give its shift over to the moon, the remaining lights of L, Manburg came into view in the distance. Everyone, despite what had happened was happy and had a look that showed they felt safe to see their home. Among which a pair of lime green eyes eyes narrowed as he saw the kingdom he despised come closer.

Everyone came to a halt in the plains of the first battle. Philza landed and as he was about to pull the body off his back, Dream jumped off and without looking back ran off in the direction of his base. But Technoblade acted fast. He rode his horse in front of Dream blocking him just in time. He was about to head in another direction but the others surrounded him trapping him. His arms were still tied behind his back, and he's wounds seemed to still bleed a little but despite that he still gave everyone a threatening stare that showed power as he looked around to try and escape. The moon itself reflecting off the clear green iris. Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo without hesitance threw a lasso over Dream. They caught him by the chest and tightened it. Technoblade threw one made of a thicker and stronger rope and caught him by the neck. Dream struggled and tried to pull away but one strong tug from Techno's lasso made it clear he couldn't escape. They started to walk back towards L, Manburg. The remaining men had already gone back.

Philza walked back on foot behind Dream to make sure he didn't try anyway to escape. Philza grabbed him by the head and forcefully lowered it so that he would face the ground and nothing else. They arrived by the start of the town and walked straight in. They walked on the main streets. The citizens came out of their shelter and to the front of the palace to see their rulers return. They saw the 4 horses surround their enemy. They saw their king back but then they saw their general. The only movement given by the horses swaying. When they reached closer to the palace, all of the citizens saw the man responsible for the death of their general and their heir. They yelled out negative feedback at Dream. He still remained with his head facing the ground. No one truly saw him grit his teeth and narrow his brows nor heard him curse under his breath at everyone around him.

They arrived in front of the castle and the citizens. "Ok everyone please listen..." Technoblade called out, it silenced the murmuring and whispers among the people. Techno looked at Tubbo and then at a quick shot at Dream who was standing behind the 4 horses. Tubbo and Ranboo forced on their ropes and pulled Dream forward and onto his knees in front of the crowd. He looked straight into the hundreds of pairs of eyes that looked at him and criticized him.

"Everyone, the war is officially over, but we can't hide the truth from you. Unfortunately during the fight our general and next heir, Prince Wilbur...passed away." Techno said catching a lump in his throat in the end. The crowd was filled with gasps when they saw the pale hand rock beside the horses shoulder. Tommy looked away from the crowd not wanting them to see him.
"We do not have a clear plan yet, therefor we ask you all to return to your quarters and await until we notify you of the plans for the future." Technoblade said and they got off their horses. Tommy held Wilbur by his chest like he did at the mountain and everyone else held Dream with the ropes. Holding Wilbur in such a way would be seen as a disrespect from everyone but Tommy didn't care. He marched inside the palace gates with Wilbur and behind him followed Philza and the others with Dream. All of the people started to ask questions. They wanted to know what happened and how it happened. And most of all why the man responsible for Wilbur's death was still alive. But they ignored them and went in closing the gates behind them.

No one said anything as they walked down the carpeted halls. The long hallway continued but halfway Tommy turned at a stairway and headed to the next floor with Wilbur. Dream looked back wondering why he headed up there. Philza, Technoblade, Tubbo and Ranboo continued down the hall. Dream kept questioning in his mind where they were taking him. The hall got darker until the giant windows on the walls letting natural light in was the only thing illuminating the floor. After a bit of walking his question was answered. They turned at a corner and met with a building connected to the palace. As they approached the entrance Dream looked up to see a sign made of wrought iron. The moonlight shining off the words, 'Pandora's vault'

They came up to two giant bar gates. The wrought iron bars were heavy and were opened by two guards as they approached them. They entered the building. Everyone apart from Dream focused on walking down the hall of the darkly lit building. The footsteps on the Blackstone bricks echoing through the entire floor. Dream looked around to try and make out the details of the rooms surrounding him. Adjusting to the darkness he saw steel bars surround him. The rooms on the sides of the hallway all had thick steel bars in front. The doors were bars as well and on them there were giant bolts and locks. The inside of each room visible to the outside. Only having a singular bed, a sink and a toilet inside. The walls made of pure obsidian making it impossible for anyone to escape. No one was in any rooms yet indicating this building was first made purely for one future inmate. Coming to the end of the hall Philza opened the door of the last room. Dream faced what could be his new home. Receiving a push from behind, Dream fell on his chin into his personal prison cell. The ropes were cut lose at the handles leaving him with the tight loops and excess rope still around his chest, wrists and neck. Dream looked back at them, he got back up and ran towards the door but Philza slammed it shut. The sound of the bolts activating and lock tightening shattered through the building echo, Dream grabbed onto the bars and gave a cold stare at Philza who stood a few inches away from him, simply looking at him. Clenching his hands around the bars in rage, his blood dripped down the steel.

They turned and walked off down the hall and out the entrance not saying a word. The prison cell was dark. There was no artificial light inside the building. A small window high up on the wall in the back of the room had small bars letting the moon or sun light find its way into the cell and be the only light source. Dream sat down leaning against a wall hugging his knees together with his arms. He knew they were going to use him for something. There was no way they would let him live especially when they had the chance to end him. With that, the new life of a prisoner began for Dream.
