"Wait...What?..." Tommy asked turning to face Dream who sat back on his bed. "Wh- what do you mean 'get comfortable'?..."

"Have you seen outside? There's no way out for you Tommy, and everyone thinks you're dead. Might as well live here like me until eventually they dig us out."

"No...No... NO! TH- THIS CANT BE HAPPENING!" Tommy screamed out realizing what happened and ran to the bent bars up front. "NO, PLEASE I CANT... I CANT BE IN HERE WITH- WI- WITH HIM! PLEASE! TECHNOBLADE! GHOSTBUR! DAD!" He screamed out tugging on the bars. "PLEASE! PLEASE! Ple- I can't- I don't want to- not with him..." He started to accept what his future was going to be for the next few possible weeks.

"Come on Tommy, at least we have each other right?" Dream said walking up to him and sending his arm around him.

"Get, the f**k away from me Dream, I want absolutely f**king nothing to do with you until I get out" Tommy said gritting his teeth through the salty tears he tasted. He pushed Dream away and sat down in the corner of the room and hid his face. Dream sat on his bed with his legs up and crossed facing the blocked entrance. It was quiet and all Dream could hear was the sobbing of a 16 year old.

It was silent between the two inmates. Tommy continued to stay away from Dream as much as possible and live in the furthest corner of the cell. Dream remained seated on the bed throughout the stay. Not moving and staring at the bars and only looking away at Tommy from time to time.

"HEY DREAM, DOES THIS ANNOY YOU!?" Tommy asked and proceeded to make obnoxious sounds. Dream, who had been dealing with Tommy go into madness for a couple of weeks, was sick and tired of him acting like a small kid and trying to annoy him. He didn't reply and ignored Tommy like usual. It was quiet but from time to time you could hear either one of their stomachs call out for food. It had been a couple of weeks since any food had been delivered to the cell and Tommy survived on a few emergency rations for the first few days and though Dream was an immortal he still too possessed the need to eat. He could just survive a few more days without food than Tommy. Tommy was experiencing starvation for the first time and would constantly remember when Tubbo asked him if he knew what it felt like.

"You know Dream, if I ever survive and don't just f**king die or something, I'm going to make sure I don't take food for granted ever again..." Tommy said rolled in the corner and clutching his stomach. He was weak and disoriented. He would feel chills up his body whenever his stomach rumbled and would constantly swallow whenever he felt he had to throw up. Dream had only just started to experience these issues but even then still remained normal and didn't show any suffering apart from small strains in his face from time to time.

"Hey Dream,"

"*sigh* Yes?"

"Your hair is kind of long. Maybe you should wear a tie or something..." He said still managing to give a friendly smile through his suffering.

"Oh yeah sure, and where do you suppose I get that from?"

"Hmm... I don't know, maybe you could rip the elastic off the wrist of your sleeve? Sure we gave that to you...but you know we have to find a way to survive right now."

"You f**king... why the hell would this help me surviv- Ok, fine" Dream ripped the bit of elastic of the hoodie's left sleeve and tied his hair into a small pony tail with it. "There you happy?"

"Well, it depends, are you?" As much as Dream hated how annoying Tommy would be, he made his time in the cell more interesting, for Tommy would never run out of random things to say. His disorientation had gotten rid of the swearing teenager and bought back the 8 year old. As the days went on Tommy found himself accepting his fate and trying to make the best of what he had with Dream.

"Dream...Dream...Dream..." Tommy called out weakly. Dream looked down to see him lying on the floor and reaching his hand out at him. It shook at how weak he was. Dream looked at Tommy and his hand and back at Tommy again before ignoring his call and going back to facing the bars. "Dream... please... I need you to do something... for me... please..." Dream continued to ignore Tommy and only listened to him continue his calling.

"Dream..."
"Dream..."
"Cla-"

It had been a while since any word was said in the cell. Dream was deep in his thoughts facing a choice between two options.

"Should I revive Tommy... or just ignore it as a natural thing..." He thought. The question ran through his mind for a few days. Looking down he saw the corpse of the young prince on the floor. His hair still having its bounce and color despite the horrifying skeletal like appearance his body had turned into. The area around his stomach starting to rot from the inside and the smell spreading through the cell. Tommy had suffered an extremely slow and painful death. Losing his sanity as his time started to come to an end. But in his last minutes, when he couldn't move and had no choice but to lay on the floor, when all he felt was him starting to digest himself, he knew that this was it. He accepted this was how he would leave the cruel world. He thought how unfair this was, thinking that all he wanted was to have his brother back. But at that point he put it all away and only had one thing he wanted to do before he lost his chance. He reached out to Dream with only one request. He knew they were coming, that they were going to find them eventually but they wouldn't be fast enough to find them and instead would only find Dream. Knowing that, Tommy wanted him to tell them just one thing. Though he was completely drained of any energy he managed to pull his arm up and call out to him with the bit of voice he had left. It hurt to talk and to move a finger, but he wanted Dream to let them know. He couldn't say a proper goodbye to his mother or Wilbur, and he didn't want to lose his chance of saying goodbye to the rest of his family.

"Dream...please... don't ignore me... I just want you to do one thing. Please...Dream..." Tommy knew he was listening and only ignoring. And if he was truly listening, he would reply to what Tommy had in mind to say next.
"Cla-" Tommy's hand fell to the floor dead. He lost his chance to let them know. Dream caught what Tommy meant to say, and only then turned his head towards Tommy to finally respond. But by then he was the only one remaining in the cell. The youngest petal fell among its mother.
