Chp. 14- Danger in Paradise

Piper has been obsessed lately, I can tell that Calypso girl is getting to her.

So, I booked a little trip to Paris. It is the fashion capital of the world, and Piper has been taking more of a liking to that stuff lately.

We've never really been traveling unless it was to save the world, so I think it'll be a nice change.

It was dark out, and I was sneaking around cabins to kiss my Pipes goodnight. I noticed a little girl sitting against a oak tree.

She looked about twelve, and her beautiful eyes held a sadness I couldn't describe. She seemed go be upset writing in a journal of some kind, then she tapped the lock on the side and it snapped shut.

I had been staring, but then I quickly walked away. Why was a little girl like this out past curfew? Most newbies didn't dare break the rules.

I skirted around cabins until it found the dollhouse looking one, with Piper leaning up on a wall near the back. She was intently staring at the stars, and I check my pocket for the tickets. They were there and I couldn't help but grin like and idiot.

Sneaking behind her, I jump up and throw my arms around her hugging her from behind.

She squeaks a little, then has a child like grin on her face as she turns around and sees me.

She gives me a playful slap on my arm, but I know she secretly loves it when I do this.

"Hey Jason." She smiles.

When she smiles it's like a thousand suns showering me with light, shutting out all the darkness.

"Hi Pipes. I have a surprise." I smirk in triumph.

"You know I hate surprises." She teases.

I reach in my pocket and pull out the tickets, and Piper covers her mouth to make the excited scream less loud.

"We're going to Paris." I say and contain my smile.

"I love you so much. Like, you don't even know." She throws her arms around me and gets on her tippy toes to shower me with kisses. I love it when she does it.

"I love you too, Pipes." I say between her sweet kisses that made my skin tingle.

Ina's POV.

She had come here for another chance, and hoped she was doing well.

So far, she had made a friend, Calypso. She had only read of Calypso in books, and her life had seemed tragically heartbreaking. A cruel joke of Aphrodite.

Otherwise, she spent her days as a usual camper. She goes to practice, all things she's been taught before.

She just wants to do it right this time.

Leo's POV.

His beautiful sunshine was fast asleep, but the headlight on his bunk illuminated his workspace.

Leo was the last one up, he was trying to figure out something. There have been sightings of people that have been dead forever, but they were seen very alive. Also there have been no monsters lately, which was odd.

These people were dangerous ones also. Too bad dead people like his mother couldn't come back.

Demigods on duty had spotted Medea, Phineas, King Minos, and other nasty people that did no good in the world.

But the dead can't just return, Minos maybe but Medea was an evil sorceress that was very much human.

Only the seven and Chiron know, he doesn't see this small problem as a threat. But when Leo thought about when he had faced Medea before, it still sent shivers down his spine.

They had to figure out a solution, and before anyone met their fate from it. Whatever this problem was.
