I knew exactly what he meant. But I had no idea how he found out, I had only dropped subtle hints to Percy.
No one could know, they'd all hate me just like they did after my death. What I did was unforgivable, and it was the talk of camp for weeks. I betrayed them, all of them.
Traitor.
"Now please tell me, Silena Beauregard, why you are back here?" Chiron asked.
No. No. Hearing my name sent shivers up my spine. I couldn't face this, I couldn't face my old self. The traitor. The spy.
"I'm sorry, Chiron. I needed a second chance to make things right." I messed with the hospital bracelet on my wrist. Anything to get my attention away from this conversation.
"Silena, we've missed you." Chiron says nothing about my treason, my spying. Instead he brings me into a fatherly hug and I gladly hug him back.
Piper's POV.

I was headed to the Athena cabin, to see if I could help Annabeth with anything. I know that she'd probably just ignore me, but I figured it was worth a try.
I knocked on the door, and Annabeth's second, Malcolm, answered.
"What do you need?" Malcolm asks.
"I'm here to help Annabeth." I say.
"Uh, okay. I'll call her out." He went into the cabin, and after a few minutes brought out a messy Annabeth. Her hair was pulled into a messy bun, she was wearing only a tank top with a jacket tied around her waist and sweatpants.
"What?" She asks, laptop in arm.
"I'm just here to help." I grin a bit.
"Okay, let's go then. I think Zeus' Fist is good place to think." She states and I nod.
We walk though the woods, all the way to the serene place. The grass is a luscious green, and a slight breeze lifts my hair.
Sitting down on the cool rock, Annabeth opens her CHB laptop. After losing Daedalus's laptop, she was so upset Chiron just let her have one of the camp laptops.
She pulled up a page where she had been taking notes, and a few internet pages were open because she was looking at monsters.
"Okay, so this is my idea of what's happening. There's a type of monster called a Mania, they drive people insane. And I noted some of the children of Gaea, and one included Delphyne. She was assigned to guard the oracle of Delphi, but she was slain by Apollo for not doing her duties." Annabeth starts.
"Okay and?" I question.
"She's a daughter of Gaea, was slain unfairly by the gods, and was thought of as the mother as all monsters. What I was thinking is that she's assembling all of these minor monsters to help overtake all the children of the gods, and they're getting to us the way we least expect it. Through our minds." Annabeth grimaces.
"So if we can find this mother monster and kill her, then her armies will fall apart and we won't be bothered by the Mania anymore?" I ask.
"That's what I was thinking. But with monsters, you never know. The last time I checked she was in Tartarus because she was slain at the hands of Apollo." She says.
"So.. We can't kill her because she's already dead. But what if she overtook Thanatos's mind and made him open the doors of death just like before?"
At that, Annabeth's eyes widen.
"Oh gods. Oh my gods, this can be so much worse than we think. If she and her army has passed through the doors of death, how do we know other things haven't come through? Just like before?" A look of horror passes over Annabeth's face, as we realize the dire situation.
"We need to tell the others. Before the Mania can alter their minds any further." I say, and my voice wobbles a bit.
"Yes, yes we do."

We all sit around a table in the Big House, even Calypso. Annabeth and I had just finished explaining what we thought it was, and everyone seemed to understand.
Percy immediately suggested we go to the oracle, but we decided to wait and see if it got worse. Or it could possibly be something else that was causing the campers to feel this way.
Chiron stands, and speaks.
"Okay, so since these young ladies here," he waved a hoof at Annabeth and I, "have decided what the problem was and how to fix it, I see that it is up to them and one other to figure it out. Ina, come in." Chiron says.
Ina walks in, her small arms wrapped around herself, and I saw a bandage around her waist. Annabeth gasps, and rises to see if her wound was bad. Chiron tells her to sit down.
"My-my name isn't Ina." She says with her voice shaking.
She rolls up her sleeve, showing a scythe charm bracelet on her wrist.
"My name isn't Ina. It's Silena. Silena Beauregard. And I'm here to make things right." She rips off her charm bracelet, and throws it on the table. "I'm here for a second chance. And with that chance I'll choose the right side this time. Please forgive me."
Silena drops to her knees, which must hurt but she did it anyways.
She was downright beautiful, long dark brown hair and shinning blue eyes. Small figure, but I'm sure she could pack a punch if she wanted to. I had heard stories about Silena, most were bad. All were told by Drew, explaining how she was a disgrace because she fell in love. How she died a traitor and spy, unworthy to be honored in any way.
But when I looked at Silena, I saw a legend. A story worth telling, if you ask me. I couldn't even believe she was here.
"Just one more chance." She sobbed on the floor, holding her side.
Annabeth stood up, and this time Chiron didn't stop her.
"Silena." Annabeth walked over to her.
"Silena Beauregard, oh how good it is to hear that name. I missed you, we have all missed you." Annabeth said and offered a hand to help up Silena, and brought her into a hug.
"Welcome back." Annabeth cried.

I didn't deserve this. Annabeth in my arms, all this forgiveness.
"Silena, I know you want to catch up with everyone, but you should see the oracle. I think this should be your quest." Chiron said.
"It would be my honor, sir." I say in a shaky voice.
I walked down the long creaky hallway to the attic ladder, and began my ascent into my new chance.
^^Hey guys! So I'm sorry about the cliffhangers, lack of updating, and pretty much everything. I just wanted to add Silena Beauregard back into the story because she was honesty one of my favorite characters, and I was sooo sad when she died. So, I hope you all enjoy her being back as much as I do! (: -Bri ^^
