^^ Oh my gods oops sorry! Was working on the last chapter in my other fanfic yesterday... ^^

Leo's POV.

I heard a faint and shrill scream in the distance.

One that could only be hers.

Before I know what I'm even doing, my legs carry me at full speed toward the sound as I hear a "Help! Please!"

I knew then it was her at the pleading words. A small fire set ablaze in my left hand, I was ready to help her any way I could.

Another scream pierced the silent night air. My heart seemed to break a little knowing I wasn't helping her right now. One of the most helpless feelings I have ever experienced.

I see black fur through the bushes, and by the growling I knew immediately what it was.

I darted around the bushes, and saw my Calypso lying on the ground with her foot tangled in a tree root.

I quickly get between her and the hellhound and shoot up a wall of fire to keep it back. It whimpers and steps back, but is still growling like low thunder.

I know Celestial Bronze will kill it, but I hadn't brought a sword with me. Now we were both in trouble.

My mind was screaming at me, reach in your tool belt! You have to have something! And sure enough, I find a jagged piece of Celestial Bronze that I was working on, I just needed to attach it to something. And, I only had one hand to do so.

I look below and see Calypso lying on the ground, almost unconscious. The ache in my heart pushed me to come up with a solution.

I let go of the flame on my hand and began to will it with my mind, and hurried to complete my makeshift sword.

I quickly tied a rope to the handle and cut it with my teeth, ready to swing into action. I was exhausted from willing the flame with no hands, but I was determined.

"Hey little puppy, come and get it!" I taunted the hellhound.

It's response was a low growl and a lunge at me. I ducked to the side and attempted a jab at it's side, and backed away from Calypso. It let loose a bark that seemed to shake the trees as I let loose a fiery explosion beside it that set one of it's legs and a few trees on fire.

I could care less, I would deal with the nature spirits later.

He found me. He came. I wanted to smile but couldn't find the strength to even do that. I watched in horror as he fought the hellhound, as I lay on the ground bleeding.

As I battled to stay awake, I heard a faint explosion in the distance and a bright light of fire. I couldn't stay awake after that. All I know is, Leo loved me. I slipped into unconsciousness.

It stumbled back from the fire, and I moved in. On one swift move I stabbed it on the side, as it dissolved into yellow dust.

I was breathing heavily, and wish I had paid more attention in sword training.

Only one thing on my mind- Calypso. I rushed to the tree and dropped my sword as I sunk to my knees beside her.

Her eyes were closed. I couldn't tell if it was peaceful sleep or deathly silence.

The tears came out unwillingly as I whispered her name over and over. This isn't real. This is a dream.

Sobbing, I pushed her auburn hair behind her ear, wishing she would open her eyes and smack me for it.

I couldn't face it. I couldn't. I scooped her up into my arms. Her head falls back gently, and her hair drapes down as I start to walk back to camp.

The snapping of twigs under my feet reminded me of the breaking of my heart wondering if she would be okay. Oh gods, if she didn't wake up... no. I refused to think about it.

I willed my feet one after another, and before I knew it I was there. My thoughts were consumed by her the whole time.
