"There is no way that I'm doing that." I groaned.

"Why not?! You'd be literally amazing at tutoring other students." Asako responded.

"...and I hate having to talk to other people, yeah tutoring random idiots sounds amazing!" I sarcastically remarked.

"Ugh! Come on, Y/N! Literally everyone here likes you, and you need to get some other friends besides me." Asako groaned, and if it wasn't already obvious, I was not about to agree to tutoring.

Asako's stubbornness could only rival my own, and I was not about to back down. She was always claiming things about how I was 'the cutest boy in this stupid school' and how 'people were always staring at me', though I was pretty sure that everyone was always staring at her. I mean, if I wasn't her friend then I'd probably have a crush on Asako too.

Asako was literally beautiful, and if people didn't want to date her than it was their loss, not hers. Asako had beautiful wavy blonde hair, shiny ocean blue eyes, and she was really smart too. The two of us were in the chemistry club together, so of course she was also smart, but I guess that because we were both in the chemistry club people thought that we were nerds or something.

Asako ruffled my h/c hair. "Come on Y/N~ Both of us know that you'd be amazing at tutoring, and maybe you'd even be able to get yourself a girlfriend or a boyfriend along the way~"

"Ew, no." I had a disgusted look on my face. "Look, Asako, I may be a bit desperate, but I'm not THAT desperate..." I paused, "at least I don't think I am."

Asako sighed, "Well at least think about it, because I'm not gonna stop asking you to until you cooperate."

"Ugh! Why do you even want me to be a tutor so much?" I groaned. "Is someone paying you to do this or something? Are you being threatened?"

I had always been an extremely stubborn person, and Asako knew that once she had gotten me to start tutoring, I would refuse to back down and admit defeat. After all, I did have too much pride to do that. Despite my enormous pride, I always became terrified when it came to having to deal with other people, which is why I was notoriously known as a shy, nerdy, introverted kid throughout the school.

"I may or may not have been asked to try and get you to tutor by the science teacher, but in my defense I may or may not have also gotten an anonymous tip that a certain someone wanted you as their tutor." Asako rambled on, and by the end of her talking I hadn't processed half of what she had said.

I sighed. "Who even cares..." I paused for a moment, before remembering a very important detail about today. "Oh- Wait! I just remembered, the boys volleyball team is having a practice match today. Please excuse me while I go and watch that!"

"Geez, you'll do anything when it comes to that volleyball team, huh?" Asako teased. "Well, just go on with that then, I'll get you to agree one day or another."

I huffed at Asako, before I then quickly ran to the gym and walked up to observe the practice match with some of the random fangirls. None of them seemed to notice me, and that was thanks to me being amazing at not making much noise when in public.

I would always go to watch the volleyball games, and no one ever seemed to notice that I was standing among the crowd. That may have been due to me not being the tallest and to me actively trying to be unnoticed.

I watched the volleyball match intently, and my eyes constantly scanned the court looking for a certain someone, but he wasn't there. It was a practice match between Karasuno and Aoba Johsai, and yet the one person who I always came to watch wasn't there.

Tooru Oikawa. The boy who I would always go to the volleyball teams games to watch. He never had noticed me, but I didn't mind. If anything, I was happy that he never noticed me, and I was perfectly content with just observing him from afar at times. I was too scared to go up and talk to him, and Oikawa was always surrounded by his fangirls or his friends, so it was easier for me to just look at him from afar at times.

Thinking all of that through, it made me seem like a really creepy person, but I promised myself that it was nothing more than a simple crush that I would eventually get over. I mean, maybe I have had this stupid little crush on Oikawa for about two years already, but I had never done anything creepy, so it was fine, right? The most that I did was go and watch his volleyball games and sneak a few glances at him during the few classes that we had together.

Once I was finally able to snap myself out of all of these thoughts, I noticed that Oikawa had finally arrived to the match. My eyes lit up once I saw his fluffy chocolate brown hair. I always loved seeing how much he enjoyed playing volleyball.

Eventually, the practice match came to an end, and I wandered back to the chemistry classroom only to see Asako waiting there for me, though she was at least investigate something under the microscope.

"Whatcha doing?" I asked, walking up being Asako.

"I'm looking at this one slide which I've already looked at like a thousand times, that's how bored I was waiting for you to come back." Asako complained.

"You could have gone home, ya know? I wouldn't have blamed you for leaving." I commented.

"Well I wanted to walk home with you, after all I didn't get to tell you the huge selling point for tutoring that will most definitely convince you." Asako giggled.

I sighed. "Fine then, let's go."
