Day 8, Week 2~
Oikawa seriously needs to stop flirting with me during class. Our teachers have almost caught him trying to give me notes during class, and I would rather not have Oikawa be forced to read them out loud in front of the class since all of them are stupid little love notes. I'd be mortified if Oikawa read something like what he writes in those stupid notes in front of the whole class.
Day 9, Week 2~
I'm mortified. I can't believe that happened. Oikawa had to read one of the stupid notes in front of the entire class. Asako lost it and started literally cackling, and Iwaizumi was next to her trying not to laugh at Oikawa's stupidity. He ended up getting detention so I had the chance to work on stuff in the science club instead of watching him at practice.
Day 10, Week 2~
I'm gonna scream. Everyone was asking me about my relationship with Oikawa today. Some of them even asked what he was like in bed, and to say the least, all of the other questions they asked were also extremely creepy. Now basically the entire school knows about me and Oikawa, and I have no idea how to feel about it.
I walked through the doors of the gym with Asako. Today was the day of Aoba Johsai's practice match with another team, but Oikawa hadn't told me what team they were playing against yet. When we walked in, the team was warming up, but I noticed something strange. Oikawa was walking weirdly, as if he was in pain, and my suspicions were confirmed when he tripped, fell, and landed on his knee.
"O-Oikawa!" I rushed over to him and bent down. "Are you alright? You landed right on your knee, you need to be careful."
"D-dammit," Oikawa mumbled, wincing in pain.
"You landed on your bad knee, didn't you?" Iwaizumi said, walking over to help Oikawa up.
"B-bad knee?! Do you need to go to the nurses office? Who I am kidding of course you do. You need to rest it and put ice on it or else it's gonna start swelling and that would make the pain even worse and-"
Asako placed her hand over my mouth. "You're rambling again. Let's just get Oikawa to the nurses office, preferably quickly. Can you carry him Iwaizumi? If you can get him there then Y/N can probably deal with the rest."
"Yeah, I got him." Iwaizumi picked up Oikawa with ease, and the four of us went to the nurses office.
Oikawa was sat down on one of the beds and the nurse quickly got him an ice pack. Iwaizumi and Asako went back to the gym while I sat with Oikawa, making sure that he kept his leg up and kept the ice pack on his knee.
Oikawa let out an annoyed sigh. "And here I was hoping to impress you today."
"You know you don't have to do that, right? I think you're cool without you even doing anything at all." I rested my head on Oikawa's shoulder.
"Yeah but I still wanted to make it up to you. I totally embarrassed you, and I wanted to prove to you that I was still cool even though what I did was totally lame." Oikawa mumbled.
I giggled. "You know, even though it was really embarrassing, it's kind of flattering that you keep on giving me all of those flirty notes. It's also maybe a little flattering that you were even willing to go up in front of the class and read out the note, especially with the amount of confidence that you had."
"Well why wouldn't I have confidence? I want everyone to know just how much I really love you." Oikawa kissed my cheek.
I laughed. "Alright alright, I guess that's a good enough answer for me." I looked down to Oikawa's knee to see that it already looked much better despite the short amount of time which we had spent in the nurse's office. I then looked at the clock only to realise that we had been in the nurse's office for almost an hour without even noticing.
"My knee's feeling better now, guess I should probably go and play, but I wouldn't mind spending the rest of the match here with you." Oikawa smiled.
"Hmmm, when I think about it, maybe I mind if we spent the rest of the match here together." I jokingly pushed Oikawa's arm as he pouted. I giggled and shook my head. "I'm just kidding, Kawa. I would love to see you play, but let me wrap your knee so that you don't hurt it anymore, alright?"
"Oh! I actually have a brace, it would be a lot easier just to use that." Oikawa reached over to his bag, which I hadn't realised that Iwaizumi brought with him.
I carefully placed the brace onto Oikawa's knee, and the two of us walked back to the gym. When the two of us entered the gym, the practice match with the other team had reached its third set. I walked Oikawa over to his coach, and I made sure to remind Oikawa to be careful one more time, until I began to head over to the upper area of the gym to stand with Asako and cheer on Oikawa.
When I was walking, I locked eyes with a familiar ravenette with a pair of blue eyes, before quickly rushing up to Asako, trying to avoid him no matter the costs. He seemed to try and call out to me, but I wasn't about to go talk with him right now.
"What's up with you? I get that you're worried about Oikawa, but you seem even more panicked than you should be." Asako commented, flicking the side of my head.
"My cousin is here."
