The next morning, I woke up to find myself hugged around a pillow, and my oversized t-shirt that I had worn to sleep was bunched up to expose my stomach. I rolled over and lazily reached for my phone. I checked the time and it was around 9am. 

Why am I awake so early? I could sleep for like another 2 hours...

I put my phone back down and attempted to fall asleep again. After around 30 minutes I wasn't able to fall asleep again, and so I decided to finally get dressed. I cleaned myself up and got ready for the day, picking out the cutest outfit I could find in an attempt to impress Oikawa. 

I walked back to my room, rubbing my eyes, and I grabbed my phone. I saw some text notifications. I opened the messaging app on my phone and to no one's surprise it was Oikawa who had texted me.

Kawa♥: Good morning N/N-chan!

Kawa♥: I'm super excited to hang out with you today!

Kawa♥: I love you ♥ヾ(•ω•')

Gm Kawa :N/N-chan

I began to type out "ily2" but I quickly deleted it before I sent it. For some reason, I couldn't muster up the courage to send it. Why was I suddenly thinking about this so much? I was overcomplicating everything in my mind, and all of these things seemed like they should have been simple. 

I quickly put my phone down on my bedside table, and I moved my hand to cover my face. My face was extremely warm, a lot warmer than it should have been. Why would I be blushing so much?

I suddenly heard my phone start ringing, which quickly snapped me out of my daze. I picked up the phone after forgetting to look at the caller ID. 

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi N/N-chan!" Oikawa happily called through the phone.

"Oh, Kawa, hi." I responded groggily, since I was still trying to wake up.

"Aw~ Your morning voice is so cute N/N-chan, you sound so cute when you sound all sleepy." Oikawa cooed through the phone. 

I felt the heat on my face spread to the tips of my ears. "Mmmm," I groaned, "What do you even want Kawa?"

"Oh, ehe~ Well I was going to ask if it was okay if I picked you up at 11am, and I really wanted to hear your voice." Oikawa giggled.

"Mmm, well that's fine I guess. I'll make sure I'm ready by 11am." My voice was quiet as I spoke since I was trying to hide how embarrassed I was. 

"Alright! I'll be there at 11, bye for now, N/N-chan. I love you~" Oikawa responded. 

"B-bye Kawa," I hung up the phone before I was able to gain enough courage to tell Oikawa that I loved him as well. 

Alright, roughly an hour and a half until Oikawa gets here. I have about an hour and a half to figure out what's wrong with me right now and fix it somehow... I mean I've done assignments that are supposed to take 2 weeks in this amount of time before, I can do this too... right?

I sat down in the chair near my desk and let out a groan as I let my head fall to hit the desk.

Nope, nevermind, can't do this. I should just text Oikawa and tell him to not come and pick me up because I'm sick or something...

I sat up straight and turned to look at where my phone was sitting. I stared at my phone for a moment before slamming my head down on my desk once more.

Nope, can't do that either.

I let out yet another groan. 

What am I supposed to do? This is only the first day of the first week which I have to date Oikawa, how am I supposed to deal with this for 3 weeks?

I quickly took out my notebook in the top drawer of my desk. There wasn't anything written in it, so I decided to start writing.

~Day 1, Week 1
I agreed to date Tooru Oikawa for 3 weeks, and it's the first day. 
Oikawa and I are going to spend time with each other today.
I'm terrified, to say the least.
I'm feeling all of these weird emotions, and I'm not sure what any of them mean.
It feels like there are butterflies in my stomach whenever I think of Oikawa saying "I love you".
It also feels like these butterflies could make me throw up at any moment.
To put it all simply, emotions are confusing and I don't like them.

I ended up filling the rest of the page with random doodles which ended up into me just sketching a picture of Oikawa until I heard the doorbell ring. 

I quickly tried to shove all of my stuff into my desk to hide it and rush downstairs, but my mother got to answer the door before I got the chance to.

"Oh, hello there, could I help you?" I heard my mother ask, while I continued to try and rush to get ready. 

"Ah, yes, I'm Tooru Oikawa. You must be Y/N's mother. Y/N and I agreed to hang out together today, and so I'm here to pick him up. But my, I must say that I can see where Y/N gets his good looks from, it must run in the family." Oikawa responded. 

My mother laughed in response. "Well aren't you a charming young man." 

She smiled as I quickly rushed down the stairs. "K-kawa! Sorry, I completely lost track of time, b-but I'm ready to go now." I smiled awkwardly, trying to get the awkward tension I could feel bubbling up inside myself to go away. 

"Aw~ Don't worry about it N/N-chan, but are you alright? Your face is rather red." Oikawa smiled

I moved my hand up in a poor attempt to hide my face. "Oh! Y-yeah I'm fine, let's just- let's just go." 

My mother laughed, "Well then, you two have fun. Just make sure to bring Y/N home before 9." 

"Will do, ma'am." Oikawa smiled as he held out his hand to me, and I quickly took it. 

Oikawa guided me to his car, and he held the door open for me. He quickly walked around the car and hopped into the driver's seat. He started his car and he began to drive towards whatever café he planned on taking me to. 

"So, N/N-chan," Oikawa broke the silence, "your mother is rather nice, I think she'd like to have me as her future son-in-law." 

"Wh-what?!" I stuttered, "who- who even said that- that I would ever want to- want to marry you!" 

Oikawa giggled, "I mean, you may not want to marry me now, but I did promise you that by the end of this three weeks I'd sweep you off your feet, right? So, I promise you, that you'll want to marry me in three weeks time." 

I internally sighed.

I guess Oikawa doesn't realize that he's already managed to sweep my off my feet...
