Nina walked through most of her periods with ease she avoided people like a plague and ignored speaking to them. She ate lunch by herself and even ran into Ruby and his group in the library after. She'd hate to admit it but they were growing on her for a group of kids. Cesar kept a close eye on her making her a bit uneasy after what they'd been telling her earlier of his brothers claim on her.
She didnt let any information slip, mostly because there wasn't really anything to know about her. She was a girl being beaten everyday. Her only hobby being to read or watch movies. She had no friends or other family so she mostly did these things alone.
But the gang could also tell she was wicked smart as she practically flies through her homework within that one period. If she had to pick a favorite it would be between Ruby and Jamal. Jamal was just quirky, and Ruby.... Tried to flirt but it kind of dialed down more into friendship the more she swerved him. Monse and Cesar were practically eye fucking. But anytime Nina mentioned a small detail about herself she couldn't help but notice his attention would slightly divert to her as if to remember that.
That's why she told them her favorite book, her favorite show and movie. And that she liked to cook new recipes, so to her she didn't really see anything exciting about that.
The group all walked home together minus Cesar who got picked up from Oscar after school. He once again stared down Nina as he did this, no goonies with him this time. She didn't know why until they were on their block of the neighborhood. Outside the beer littered yard was a whole group of men drinking and fucking around smoking joints.
Cesar was sat with them looking tense and unnatural breaking Nina's heart a little bit. The trio walking with her noticed her stares and directed her attention away as Oscar sat in the middle of the group having not seen them yet. "Keep your head down and maybe they won't see us." Jamal said in a panic before someone yelled out. "HEY!" The four stopped walking, the trio stood in front of Nina a bit in a protective manner.
Spooky standing up and stalking forward a bit before doing a finger motion for them to come closer. They all shuffled their feet moving close but not within strangling distance. All the santos behind Spooky snickering and watching intensely as their leader tried to find his new piece of ass fresh from prison.
He looked at the trio with a small humorous smirk they thought they stood any chance against him. One look at Jamal and he was practically hiding behind Nina making her more visible to him. He couldn't help but look her body up and down a bit confused why the hell she was wearing heavy clothes in the hot weather. Although he liked how the clothes clung to her body showing each and every curve, and she was very curvy for his liking. "Hey.... What's your name beautiful?" He called looking straight at her while biting his lip cheekily at her.
