Nina managed to snag a new jacket in the schools lost and found box, it was leather and fit her perfect. She already wore a long sleeve so she stuffed it in her bag as she began walking to her locker for the end of the day. "Me and Olivia. It's gonna happen." Ruby said fixing his hair in Monse's locker mirror. Ever since yesterday when his 'cousin' moved in he's been drooling all over her. He was still sad he didn't help Cesar and actually got him in deeper, so did Nina. "I can't wait to get the hell out of here." Nina seethed pulling her skirt down for the hundredth time that day.
"You look good.... If that's any consolation." Monse said smiling as she felt bad to have made Nina wear something that made her uncomfortable. "Greaaaat." Nina groaned leaning on a locker ready to get out of there all ready. "So guys homecoming is next week. I'm thinking of taking Olivia." He said dreamily a s he spotted her walking out of the office with his mom who just enrolled her. "I'll pass." Nina snorted as all the younger kids stared at her with mouths open in shock. "Oh no your going. If I'm being forced to go then so are you." Monse said pointedly as Nina shook her head. "Can't. I'll make plans for that night so.... No point." She said whispering the last part walking away with them following her.
"Oh come on Nina. Let loose. Hey I'm sure you could find someone to take to the dance." Jamal said pointing at himself as he was too scared to actually ask anyone out of their group. He then pointed from him to her as she shook her head laughing at him beginning to feel watched. "Sorry Jamal. I really can't but- rain check on that dance?" She asked and everyone laughed he then looked to Monse.
Looking up her eyes locked on Spooky, he was leaned on his Impala staring at her and her group. "Well- see ya guys." Cesar sighs walking to his brother who usually waited in the car. However he stared at the group before he began to ask Cesar something before nodding and waving the crew over as Cesars eyes were stuck on the concrete.
Oscar looking Nina up and down again in the skirt before looking around the parking lot and smirking. "What Oscar?" Monse asked annoyed since she was petty about him forcing Cesar into the Santos. "Nothing. Here for my Ruca." He said it so casually as everyone gaped at Nina who hadn't asked what that meant but she rolled her eyes putting her hands on her waist. "Whatever the hell that is I'm not it. So if you'll excuse me-" she said wanting to leave but Oscars hand stopped her by grabbing her hand and lightly pulling her closer to him.
Being clumsy of course she had to fall into him a bit making her blush, he wrapped his arms around her with a smirk. Nina tried to escape his arms he put firmly around her. "I'm driving you home Nina." He whispered lowly to her as he secretly waved her group away besides Cesar who stayed close enough if Nina really wanted to get away he could help. His hands sliding a little too low for her liking making her try to push him again but he simply grabbed her wrists and stared at her with that stoic face he used with his gang shit. All eyes were on them in the parking lot, to anyone else it would look like they were a couple fighting or- talking freaky.
