"So um....We are in... to work for flowers trade." Jamal stutters as the man keeps staring at the gnome known as Julio, his eyes slowly trail to Jamal after his statement. "When should we start?" Jamal asks as Nina sighs softly knowing she would be telling Oscar later about the crazy plan Jamal pulled her into for the day.
She obviously wouldn't tell him about roller world, and that they simply were helping for the quince.
"You both already have." he says in an eerily calm voice that makes Nina scrunch her nose at the creepiness of it all. What's worse is the man does a creepy smile showing all his teeth as Nina glances at the creepy gnome as well.
It would definitely be a special guest in her next nightmare as she felt like the eyes stared into her soul.
"Julio says he will supervise your friend.... he finds her pretty. Makes him forget about.... she who should not be named." the man says with a secretive smirk at Julio like the pair wouldn't see it. "You both start tomorrow." the man says before disappearing into a big bush making Nina grab Jamal and rush out of there.
"That was- freaky." Nina shivers making Jamal nod vigorously he looked traumatized as his eyes were wide in mock horror. "Seriously..... and what was up with gnome? He was talking to it like it was a real person." Jamal hisses continuously looking back to make sure they were not being followed.
"OH SHIT WE ARE SO LATE FOR THE DANCE REHEARSAL!" Jamal suddenly screams dragging Nina behind him as they rushed to Ruby's house. They could already hear Ruby bashing the others dance moves inside making Nina dread even more to walk in. As they creep the door open trying to be stealthy all eyes went to them making Nina gulp anxiously.
"Sorry we're late." Jamal tries to say it casually but Ruby was already glaring deep into their souls. "SILENCIO!" he screams making Nina flinch as an accusing finger is pointed at them.
"NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR EXCUSES!" He shouts at Jamal before looking to Nina with disappointment. "You were supposed to be my second in command Nina.... and you're late to the first dance rehearsal? What is your excuse?" Ruby asks unexpectedly as Jamal gasps since he couldn't even tell his reasoning.
"Jamal and I worked out a deal to get the flowers for free." Nina says with downcast eyes scared he would yell at her like he did Jamal.
"Oh why didn't you guys just say so no harm done, you're still my second Nina now both of you get over there." Ruby says in a relieved voice as Jamal's mouth drops open. "BECAUSE YOU SCREAMED AT ME LIKE A PSYCHO!" Jamal yells making Ruby point aggressively where he wanted them to stand.
"NOW EVERYBODY AGAIN FROM THE TOP!" Ruby yells making the group stand in a line as he plays the music from the beginning. The only time Nina danced was when she was drunk at a Santos party and the party at Monse's where she was also drunk.
