Nina opened the binder she was given as Ruby tried to explain what it said. She couldn't help but look at him like he was a little crazy single her name was actually watermarked on the inside already meaning he had been working on this since last night.

"So what are these supposed to do? Are we gonna throw them at the gun wielding goonies while you have a heart to heart with Spooky?" Jamal said completely freaked out with Monse agreeing they were a little pointless. "It's part of the process. We need to plan out different plans to save Cesar and Nina." Ruby exclaimed like they were the dumb ones as Nina nose scrunched up at her name.

"Guys I'll be fine I think I can handle a couple gang bangers." She laughed setting the binder down grabbing her bag. "A couple? There's way many more Santos then that stupid yard can hold! Are you actually crazy?" Jamal said freaking out as the others looked to agree.

Nina still didn't see the big deal. She had been rude multiple times and nothing happened, she beginning to think they were all talk. "Where are you going? We really gotta act out this plan tomorrow!" Ruby called pointing at his countless pages. "I have to go home and cook dinner." She said it simply before getting up and leaving the murmuring group behind her. They planned to talk to Cesar after school tomorrow and tell him their brilliant plans.

Nina walked out of Ruby's house shooting the Santos a quick look before walking further down the street to her house. She was quick to unlock the door and start cooking dinner for her father. It was a steak with Mac and cheese on the side. She even had time to clean the entire house before he came back.... He was late. Soon he came stumbling in making her insides go cold as she served up his dinner. She sat it on the table and he managed to get to it and stuff his face before looking at her like her mere existence bothered him.

"Pathetic." He said in a drunk mutter making her tense and look sadly as she cowered even more.  He stood a stumbling mess walking to her, she knew even if she could escape his grasp it was better not to or he'd get even angrier and punish her worse. She hadn't even done anything that she could think of when he grabbed a fistful of her hair and dragged her down the basement stairs. She Come how stayed on her feet allowing her legs not to get bruised up by the stairs.

But he dragged her to a freezer that sat in the basement with no food inside it..... just dried blood. He threw her inside before locking it and turning it on. She couldn't help but cry as she was surrounded by the utter darkness and cold. She was cramped as she laid there for hours, trying to sleep hoping he'd let her out by morning or sooner.

She awoke to the lock being fumbled with and cowered in deeper as it swung open with force. "Get out." He muttered holding his aching head. The only reason he let her out was to make him breakfast. She did that trying to hide the cold chills her body still felt. When he left she poured herself a steamy black coffee and chugged it to feel warm. It helped but she still looked oddly pale compared to her usual skin tone.
