"JUST GET OUT!" Oscar screamed out of nowhere as Nina held his once shaking form gently trying to give the comfort she never knew much of. Nina couldn't help but flinch away as he raised his voice at her. At first she was stunned and just sat there confused arms loosening from around him. "Why are you-" she begins to ask confused why he was suddenly being so aggressive about it but he stood abruptly making her flinch away. He kept his back to her looking tense and like he wanted nothing to do with her.
Nina sucks her lips in awkwardly that he had just been kissing before standing and leaving in a hurry. She decided maybe he needed space. As Nina went home that night she couldn't help but lay in bed wondering if one day he'd flip like this for nothing leaving her unprotected. Her father would have a field day.
But Nina just shook it off and went to sleep, she could hear the Santos party start up sometime in the night. She laid there curious if Oscar was partying or if he was sulking around drinking to himself. She knew it was probably both and soon forced herself to stop thinking of Oscar. She forced herself to sleep trying to keep her rising anxiety down as she thought of Halloween tomorrow. Ruby wanted a sit in so she'd be wearing the costume Monse and Olivia picked out. Then they'd watch scary movies as pairs, Nina with Jamal.
If only they stuck to that plan.

Nina grumbles as the wind attempts to blow her skirt up yet again on her walk to Ruby's. She made sure to cover her visible hickeys with her hair before knocking on the door. Ruby answers excitedly before gaping at her, "Nina you l-look great." He says smiling as Nina walks in radiating how awkward and uncomfortable she feels. Monse stands smiling as she goes to greet the girl before grimacing as she saw the dead panned look Nina gave her. "You look fantastic." Olivia says not reading the room as she hugs Nina who tenses at the contact.
Jamal walked in as a patient and immediately began pointing between him and Nina ecstatically. "MATCHING COSTUME THEME!" He says excitedly as Ruby nods staring a little too closely at Nina's legs making Jamal swat him as Nina looked ready to smack him. She loved the guy he just could be very perverted. Nina and Jamal made sure to take photos together and posted them online. Nina didn't think much of it as Jamal posted them, just hoping no one showed her father.
