                                                                   Gwen

I was so glad when we got to our school house. I went straight up to my room . I’m so mad at Alex. Why the heck did she have to talk about last year in front of Adam? I think he’s cool and I don’t want him to know about it. I just want a friend who doesn’t know anything about my past. That’s going to be super hard here. I don’t even know what she was talking about. Why did I need proof to tell her that the picture was fake?

Worrying leads to depression. I’ve got to stop it.

Jaye is using her laptop on her bed.

“So. I can’t believe what Ginny did, huh?”

“I don’t want to talk about it.” I say brushing my hair. My hair is being aggravating so I just put it up in a ponytail. I only do that when I’m working out but today is an acceptation.

“I wish I had your hair.” Jaye whines.

“Mine is so thick and annoying.” She starts to fiddle with her red locks.

“Your hair is gorgeous.” I say.

Suddenly, Cerise Van Sorret walks in.

“Hi. I’m guessing you know who I am. I’m kind of having a party in my room tonight and we’re going to watch a movie. So you guys are like invited.”

You should’ve seen Jaye’s face. Her green eyes were as big the sky and her mouth was showing off her braces.

“Seven o’ clock tonight.” And then she walked out.

“Oh my gosh! Cerise Van Sorret just invited us to her party! I can’t believe it!!”

“I’m sure she’s just trying to be nice and make new friends. Maybe she doesn’t want you to treat her like a pop star.”

“Do you really think so? That would be hard.”

“Mhm.”

Alex walked in.

“Hey, Gwen. So what happened when we were walking with Adam?”

“Just don’t talk about last year when I’m with him. I kind of don’t want him to know.”

“Well sure. But the only way to do that is to give me some proof that the picture is fake.”

“What the heck are you talking about, Alex?” I ask.

“Ginny Richardson says that she’s going to make sure the whole school knows about the picture, even the teachers, but if I have proof that the picture is fake, she won’t.”

“You can’t trust Ginny Richardson.”

“You think she’ll still show everyone even if I have proof?”

“Yes.”

“Hey Alex! Guess what?” Jaye asks, changing the subject.

“What?”

“Cerise Van Sorret invited me and Gwen to a party!”

“Who cares?”

“Aww, Alex! Are you jealous?”

“Pfff, no. I don’t care about that stuck up bimbo.”

“She is not stuck up.” Jaye defended.

“Whatever. Have fun.”

I couldn’t help but notice but I think Alex is jealous. Maybe she wants to come to the party too.
