                                                                           Ian

I heard there was some kind of party happening at Cerise Van Sorret’s room. I’m not a fan of her music but she’s hot.

The first time I heard about her was from a song on the radio. It wasn’t so good but she got better over the years. Or she just got better auto tuning.

I feel really bad for Gwen. After that mass text, gee, that’s harsh. I mean, Gwen was hoping for a year where no one remembered anything, and here is Ginny Richardson trying to ruin it.

I’m sure Gwen’s sick of people feeling sorry for her. I just wish I could help her somehow.

Darcy was combing his hair in the bathroom and put on a suit. I wondered if he got invited to Cerise’s party.

I sure wasn’t. I was sitting on my bed, listening to some indie and wearing plaid pants, socks, and a t-shirt. Ah, my lounge wear.

“Still no invitations, hmm, Ian?”

“What?” I ask pulling out my ear buds.

“Never mind. Have fun playing Tetris.”

I rolled my eyes and went back to listening to my music. I wasn’t gonna play Tetris. I was gonna watch Netflix.

I heard Alex walking down the hall inviting people to some sort of party in her room. Two parties going on at the same time?

“Hey, you’re invited to the Welcoming Freshmen Party! Seven thirty!”

She was inviting freshmen…to a party…in her room…to welcome them. Does she even know what’s she getting into?

Next I know, her head pops into my room and smiles.

“Hey, hipster! You’re invited to-”

“No thanks.”

“What?” She steps in.

“I’m all good. Heh, just gonna stay in tonight, you know?”

“Okay, come on. I know going to a freshmen party is a little much, but it’s going to be fun! There’s gonna be sophomores too…Maybe.”

“Alex. Aren’t you going to Cerise’s party?”

“No. Like I would want to go to its party.”

“It?”

“Look. I don’t like Cerise. So, I’m not going.”

“You weren’t invited, were you?”

“That doesn’t matter! Even if I was I wouldn’t go.”

“Sure.”

“You know what? You’re not invited anyway.” She snatched up the invitation from my bed and stormed out.

She so wants to go to that party.
