Chapter 9 Corey

I sat in the back seat of my Benz and bobbed my head to one of my songs that was playing on the radio. I had just finished performing at a live concert at Essence nightclub in West Hampton Beach. I checked the time on my gold Rolex and saw that it was ten minutes after eleven in the night. I had some unfinished business to take care of.

Kaylee, Jackson, Amelia, and the other members of my management team were working tirelessly to get things back on track for me. Kaylee was still insisting that I sue Dr. Bliss but I told her no. I don't know what happened with my medication but I know for sure that the doc was not to be blamed. Regarding the lawsuit that was filed against me by the promoters in Miami, it was settled out of court.

I didn't even know if Kaylee and I were still an item anymore. Right now, I can only say that she's my manager. All we talked about was business and nothing more. Each time that I tried to apologize to her, she just shut me down and changed the subject. I didn't even know why I thought that Kaylee would've switched my medications because deep down, I knew that she would never do something like that.

"Mr. Adams, here you go." My driver, Andrew, said to me as he pulled up in Kaylee's driveway.

"Thanks, man," I said to him as I removed the seatbelt and opened the car door.

"You're welcome, sir." He said to me.

"Cool," I replied to him and got out of the car. I made my way up to Kaylee's front porch and rang her doorbell. I hope that she wasn't sleeping. Moments later she came and opened the door. Her complexion looked pale and her eyes were watery. She smiled at me and I smiled back at her.

"Hey, baby," I said to her.

"Good night, Triger. Come on in." She motioned to me with her hands.

I stepped inside the small hallway and she closed the door.

Before I could say anything to her, she spoke.

"Can I get you anything?" She asked me as she walked towards the living room.

"No, I'm good. Kaylee, we need to talk." I said to her as I followed behind her. She was sexy as hell in her short pink robe. Her hair was in a ponytail and she was eating a bowl of her favorite flavored ice cream.

"About what, Triger?" She asked me as she put a spoonful of ice cream inside of her pretty mouth. I wish that my cock would replace that spoonful of ice cream. I continue to stare at her as I spoke.

"So it's Triger now, huh? You won't even call me Corey anymore." I said.

"I do call you Corey when the mood is right." She replied to me. She was standing beside the sofa table.

I went and stood before her. "I'm sorry for getting you upset the other day at the hospital. I'm also sorry for yelling at you like that." I said to her as I caressed her cheek with my thumb. She closed her eyes and leaned into my touch.

"It's okay, Corey. I understand. I'm sorry also. It's all my fault." She replied to me. She put down the bowl of ice cream and the spoon on the sofa table. She laced her arms at the back of my neck and pulled me closer to her.

"No, baby, don't say that. It's not your fault." I replied to her as I put my hands at the small of her back. Damn, I could feel my dick twitched in my grey Calvin Klein boxers as she pulled me closer to her. Our noses were touching against each other.

She opened her mouth to say something but I gave her a peck on her full lips. I pulled the hair tie that was holding her hair up and her long tresses fell on her shoulders.

"You're so fucking beautiful," I whispered to her.

She blushed and smiled at me. "You're always making me feel so good. I love you, Triger."

"I love you too, beautiful. I'm never letting you go. Not now, not ever." I said and crashed my mouth onto hers. I plunged my tongue inside of her mouth and our lips moved in sync'.

We pulled away from the kiss and Kaylee was panting for breath.

"Triger, baby, I don't want you to let me go. Can you promise me that?"

"I promise you that, Kaylee," I replied as I held my head down and latched onto her neck. She moaned my name as my hands went underneath her robe. I roamed my hands all over her thighs and butt cheeks.

"Corey, let's take it upstairs." She whispered to me.

"Sure, beautiful," I replied to her in a husky voice. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder unexpectedly.

"Triger, what the fuck?!!" She screamed as I ran up the stairs with her.
