So Sick

"Emily! Elle!" She screamed, still running round hunting for a way in. She was making too much noise, and she was going to attract the unsub, but she didn't care.

A neighbour had emerged, concerned, and had got out a mobile phone. JJ turned to them. "Yes! Call 911! Tell them you need to speak to Agent Hotchner, tell him it's JJ and give him this address!"

The neighbour nodded, looking slightly scared of JJ as he dialled the number.

JJ spotted a pile of bricks in a garden across the road, and ran across, picking one up, and then rushing back to the house.

She took aim at a window, and threw it with all her power at it. It smashed, glass flying everywhere, and she used the brick to clear the last of it off the windowsill and then she climbed in, carefully avoiding the glass with her bare feet.

After taking a precarious route through the glass, her head hit something. She looked up, to find herself staring down the barrel of a gun. Her eyes locked with the woman holding it. She was fairly young, early 30s JJ would say, and seemed surprisingly calm and in control.

"Come to join your friends, have you?" The woman said, grabbing JJ's arm and pulling her along.

"The one in the dress is with me, the other one is with my darling husband." She explained.

"My team have your address, they're going to find you." JJ said, as they descended some stairs into the basement.

"But it will be too late for you, and both your little friends by then. And we'll be long gone." The unsub replied.

"Wanna bet?" JJ asked, twisting her arm round and swinging her elbow into the woman's head. She fell to the floor, and JJ ran down the hallway.

She kicked down the first door she saw, and saw Elle, tied to a bed, her top ripped open. She barely had time to process this sight before a fist was swinging at her head.

She ducked, and it smashed into the wall behind her. JJ punched him back, her fist colliding with the side of his face. He pushed her up against the wall, with one arm pressing on her throat, so she lifted her knee and kneed him in the groin.

He doubled over in pain, and JJ gave him another swift kick into the side for good luck, then once more round the head to knock him out, then went across to Elle.

"That," Elle said, still only half awake from the drugs, "was totally badass."

After giving her a half smile, JJ went over to her. "Are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm okay. All your uh screaming and window smashing somewhat distracted him." Elle replied with a slight chuckle. "Could you get these off though?" She asked, wriggling her wrists.

JJ immediately nodded, and untied all the rope. She took off her jacket, and wrapped it round Elle's shoulders, rubbing them comfortingly.

"I'm okay, Jayje, I promise. You need to get Emily." Elle said, causing JJ to sit up.

"Where is she?" JJ asked.

"Down the hall, I think." Elle replied.

JJ stood up, gave Elle one last worried look, then left the room.

Nervously, Elle watched the still out cold unsub, but there were still too many drugs in her system for her to stay awake, so despite her best wishes, she slipped into unconsciousness once more.

JJ ran down the hallway, to the next door. Assuming the woman was still down the hallway, she ran straight in with no hesitation, but the female unsub had returned to Emily, and held a gun to her head. Emily was still unconscious, her feet swinging and scraping the floor beneath her as she hung from her wrists tied to a pole above her head.
