"Garcia, it's JJ. We think there's someone in Quantico. Someone who Derek would recognise as an intruder. So call him, and describe anyone you don't recognise. Elle and I are coming. Be safe." JJ said, worried when the phone rang to voicemail.

She'd barely put the phone down before it rang again.

"Agent Jareau? It's Anderson." He said over the phone. He sounded worried.

"What's wrong?" JJ asked. Elle glanced across at her concerned voice.

"I uh... have you spoken to Lexie? Because she's not in the waiting room, and she's not with  Agent Hotchner or Morgan either. Prentiss is asleep, but she's not in the room. None of them have seen her since I got here, is there anywhere I should look or?" His words were tumbling over each other in a hurry to get them out.

"Anderson. Are you telling me my- my-" JJ licked her lips. "Lexie is missing?"

Elle's eyes went wide as she turned to look at JJ again.

"I- I don't know, she wouldn't have left the hospital, would she?" Anderson asked.

"Anderson. Find. Her." JJ said, enunciating each word, her voice thick.

"Yes ma'am." Anderson said, and hung up.

JJ raised one shaking hand and rubbed her thumb against her lip, chewing on the nail as her leg bounced up and down. Elle placed a hand on it, mimicking JJ's gesture from earlier.

"JJ, he'll find her, okay? Anderson is one of the best we've got. And you know the best thing about him? He never ever makes the same mistake twice. I got shot when he was meant to be protecting me. That means he'll never let it happen again. She'll be okay." Elle said comfortingly.

"This is insane. Insane. Everyone is getting hurt, everyone I care about in the whole freaking world is in danger, and we have no idea whose doing it! The only person we have heard from in over an hour told me Lexie was missing, and Hotch- the only person who could help us, the one who always always keeps his head might never wake up. Nothing is okay." JJ said. Everything she was saying was running through Elle's head, and she couldn't offer comfort about any of it.

Elle sighed. "I know, I promise that I know. But we're okay. We're safe. We can-"

"ELLE!" JJ screamed as the windshield shattered, and the car spun, as a bullet tore through it.

"Rossi, what did you find out?" Derek asked, the moment he came out the door.

"Nothing good." Rossi replied gravely. "We need to talk to the others."

"That's proving difficult. I got a voicemail, from Elle and JJ telling me to call Garcia, that she's explain, but Garcia didn't answer, nor did Reid, and now I can't get hold of Elle and JJ." Derek explained.

"I'm going to call Quantico, this is so much bigger then we realised Derek. And it is not a good sign they aren't answering their phones." Rossi said, pulling out his own phone to make a call.

The phone was picked up on the first ring.

"This is SSA Rossi, I'm with the BAU and-" He began to explain.

"I know exactly who you are, David." A cold voice replied from down the phone. "Forgive me, if you don't recognise the voice. Only, I was declared clinically insane recently. But you, your the mighty profiler. Surely you recognise me despite the tone?"

"Agent Minnox." Dave replied, realisation dawning.

"Ha, see that's where you're wrong. There's no Agent about it anymore. You did that, David." Minnox spat.
