Another week, another seven days, another 168 hours, another 10,800 minutes and another 6,48,000 seconds passed by. Why are we counting this? My mind inquired. Wow! No sarcastic comment, no annoying remarks. Also, we? I would have not assumed that you like to associate with me ever. I tried something new, okay, just, okay. So, the important part is.....
The radio silence from my father continued. We were playing chicken. We are holding out to see who will break down and call each other. I already heard from the rest of my family that they opposed not seeing me over the winter break. My father hasn't heeded their threats. It meant nothing anyway, they don't really go against him.
The major news was that I remained calm throughout this fiasco. The entire family was slowly waiting for me to blow up and pick a fight with my father. I was the only one who can. It's been 2 weeks and they are loosing hope. On the other hand, my father is confident that I will break down and contact him according to Alex.
His last text was very subtle.
Alex: Call your father or just come home.
I was pondering over my reply to him when the gang chatted about the merits of blood cleanse. What in the hell is that? My mind screamed. I had some disturbing flashbacks. Do we even wanna know? No, never, just no. Leave it alone.
