Luz p.o.v

"Amity! don't walk away!" i groan out, watching the girl leave down the hallway. she waves her arm in dismissal and keeps walking. i huff out some air and stand up straight, walking to my first period.

when i enter class i see Boshca and Skara again. "hey! where were you this morning?" Skara asked once she noticed me.

"oh, i just ran into Amity and talked with her." i mention, acting like i didn't just totally wait at her locker until she arrived to school. i hear Boshca hum in response, seeming a bit irritated. i make eye contact with Skara and motion towards the pink haired girl across from me. she giggled out a little bit before deciding to speak.

"she's upset because Willow took her on a date to the gym again." she mentions with a little smile, seeming a bit amused.

"all that dumbass is obsessed with is weed and working out. also i'm 'upset' because you're too caught up in your little fantasy land then to listen to me about Amity." Boshca crossed her arms and glared at me, now fuming.

"but she has been opening up to me. we're starting to get along more. hell, i make her laugh!" i try to defend, i hated getting on her bad side.

"still, Luz. me and Skara have been her friends for years." she's pissed. too late to go back.

"but has she ever acted the way she does with me towards you?" i state back. Boshca stands up abruptly and stormed out of the room. Skara looked panicked and apologized to me, then excusing herself to the teacher to follow Boshca. i sigh and put my head down. good going Noceda.

after about twenty minutes they finally came back and they needed to talk to the teacher. they must have said something different to the teacher because they never pulled me to talk. the girls sit back down and Boshca didn't talk to me for the rest of class. i kinda felt like an asshole for what i said.

i make it through the rest of my classes. during lunch i find the green haired girl and sit with her, my friends following me. she had her face in her book and kept reading even when i was sitting next to her. "hi Luz, and co." she greets simply, still not looking to me. i put my elbow against the table and put my head in my hand, leaning right next to the book. i look her in the eyes and wait. her eyes finally flicker to mine and back to reading. she's pretty when she's reading. "go away Noceda."

"common Ams! just spend some time with us." i beg while looking at her sappy. i hear Boshca clear her throat.

"more like some time with you." the pink haired girl mutters, i just roll my eyes in response. Amity puts her book down and turns to me.

"if i 'spend time with you guys' will you leave me be for the rest of the day." she complained, raising an eyebrow. i nod my head violently in agreement. the small Blight sighs and puts her bookmark in her book, then closing it. the pretty girl next to me actually stayed for all of lunch. she joined in on conversations and it honestly made me happy. after lunch ends i offer to take the small Blight to class. "i'll be alright. go to class." she tells me dismissively.

"please?" i question again, wanting to spend more time with her. she shook her head no in response.

"you said you'd leave me alone for the rest of the day, remember?" she smirks while raising an eyebrow. i groan and agreed to leave her alone. i need to start thinking before i agree to things. "good. i'll see you later then." i once again watch her walk away.

i feel a elbow jab into my side and i turn to see Hunter next to me. "i can feel Boshca's bitchy energy radiate." he mumbled next to me, nodding in her direction. i peek over and she her sitting with Willow, talking to them. "twenty bucks it's over you talking to Amity." i nod my head in agreement.
