20 || Paris

A/N: Hey guys! I just would like to address some things so feel free to come back to this after you are done reading.

First, I would like to say I am so sorry for not posting on Wattpad and Tiktok. Life has been super crazy and I will try my best to finish this story as soon as possible.

It has been 15 days since Loki had broken into the Compound. He had taken everyone hostage to get to Elizabeth. So, as punishment he's sitting in a metal container in the basement where Liz is heading down now. She'd come down here daily to keep Loki company as her memories slowly started to depart.

"Good Morning, beautiful." Loki greeted Liz when she walked in, following her figure with his bright eyes. "How are you?"

Elizabeth placed a meal in the slot for him to grab and eat, "I've been well. My memories are still disappearing."

Loki's original plan was to take Elizabeth. That simple but of course, he needed to learn more about her and who more perfect to do that then the man who invented the Super Soldier Serum and the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist? No one. So, he made colones and got to work. His goal? Simple. World domination. And of course, with Elizabeth's hidden powers he would be able to do just that.

The sliding steel doors opened to Bucky standing there. His face was emotionless, his usual look these days. "Elizabeth." He took a few steps with his hands in his pockets, "The team needs to talk with you."

"Thank you. I will be up in a second."

"No, Elizabeth. Now."

"Alright Lizzy I have some bad news..."

She nodded her head at the man.

"It seems that you have today and tomorrow and maybe the next day left of your memories before you wake up with total amnesia." Bruce took off his glasses and looked down to the floor then at Bucky. "Um... I suggest all of you spend some time and say your goodbyes."

Bruce walked out and everyone stared blank at each other until Bucky stormed out of there, slamming the door. "This can not be happening right now." He sat down on the couch and Steve soon followed.

"Spend time with her before she goes away, Buck." Steve patted his friend on the shoulder and gave him a sad smile, "or you'll regret it."

Buck nodded and smiled before he got up. "Yep."

Bucky took a few steps to the door and knocked. Two knocks on the white, wooden door seemed like eternity.

Flash back to May, during the mission.

Bucky sat on the couch in calmness. Elizabeth's eyes were closed and her head rested on Bucky's legs, the rest of her body was numb, her stomach filled with butterflies, and her mind clouded by a dream.

"Buck?"

His hands brushed through her soft hair and his head nodded up. "Hmm?"

"Why can't we stay like this forever?" Liz cleared her throat and sniffled a bit, washing away the unborn tears. "Why can;t we just be together and be h-happy?"

Bucky sat Elizabeth up against his chest and looked down at her teary face. "I love you, Elizabeth."

Two knocks and the door shot wide open to Elizabeth. "Hey, Bucky."

Bucky cleared his throat and tried to smile but failed. "H- Hi Elizabeth. I know you only have a couple days left and I wanted to talk with you."

"Sure. I am happy to spend my remaining days with you." Liz slipped on her black boot wedges to match her long sleeve top and jeans. "Where to?"

Bucky smiled wide. "Paris."

Chips crunched and heels clicked down the hall. Natasha smirked and stopped at the door, leaning on the wall. "When are we going to Paris?"

"Did I just hear Paris?!" A voice came from the hallway before a kid came down from the ceiling attached to the webbing. "I don't think Mr. Stark would be on board with that, Agent Romanoff and Saregent, last time I checked when you guys went to Paris you were assigned."

The metal armed man couldn;t help but crack a smile. "Who knew spider boy had such a mouth."

"Paris!" Elizabeth jumped up. "Let's all have a team trip to Paris!"

The rest of the team sprinted happily to their rooms to pack and all Bucky did to express his emotion was jump onto his bed and scream in his pillow.
