Chapter 2

"Do you want to talk about it?" Jaden asked as we sat down on the bus. 

"Not really," I sighed.

Jaden sat next to me, wrapped his arms around my waist, and laid his head on my chest. "I'm sorry for all of this."

"You didn't do anything," I said as I started running my fingers through his hair.

"If we weren't together then you and Josh would still be best friends. It's all my fault that he is mad at you."

"It's my choice and he can think whatever he wants. I don't care."

"I just feel-" I interrupted him immediately.

"I would choose you. I would choose you over him any day," I said as I closed my eyes.

"I love you," He said as he looked up at me.

"I love you too," I said as I laid my head back.

Jaden adjusted his position and now he was fully laying down and he had his head rested on my lap. I tried to sleep, but there was really no use since my thoughts were going crazy. I continued to run my fingers through his hair and I'm pretty sure that he fell asleep.

The bus came to a stop and I woke up Jaden. I honestly didn't even know where we were going, but I was excited to be here. "Jaden, we're here," I said as I shook him awake.

"Alright," He said as he sat up off my lap. We grabbed our luggage and started heading off the bus. We were in the middle of a city, I don't know for sure which one. I just knew for sure that we were at a hotel.

We walked inside and the lobby was full of people. I figured that the hotel was just busy on the weekends, but no. Every single one of them were fans of me and Jaden. How did they know where we were staying?

I saw they all had cameras, so I grabbed Jaden's hand and pulled him back outside. I ran onto the bus with Jaden close behind me and locked the doors. I was so happy that the bus didn't have windows, because now I could have a full on melt down without it being recorded.

"What's wrong?" Jaden asked as he sat down next to me. 

"It's just my anxiety again," I said as I started crying. "There are too many cameras and it's just overwhelming."

He scooted over next to me and started rubbing me back. "Don't worry, you just have to put on a fake face for five minutes while we check in. Then you can go back to being yourself again."

"Okay," I took a deep breath as I stood up and started walking towards the door. We got off the bus and were immediately swarmed with cameras. I grabbed his hand and we walked through the front door again.

Jaden started checking us in and I couldn't stop myself from looking around at all the cameras pointed at me. Smile, Evelyn. I took another deep breath and started waving to all the cameras.

Then everyone was chanting something. I couldn't exactly understand it, but they were obviously really passionate about it. I didn't realize what they were saying until the person closest to me started chanting with them. "Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!"

I grabbed Jaden's cheek and turned his head towards me and placed a soft kiss on his lips. It made him laugh and I couldn't help but laugh too. 

Jaden grabbed the room keys and we started heading up to the fourth floor. As soon as we got into the elevator, we were luckily alone again. I actually wasn't as nervous as I had been before we came in. I guess I just forgot that everyone was here because they love both Jaden and I.

We went into our room and it was actually really peaceful. Jaden and I cuddled up in our bed and started scrolling through a few different social media platforms. Overall, there was nothing new or interesting online that I could find. I was genuinely surprised that Josh hadn't made a tweet or done something else that would've pissed me off.

I heard a knock on our door and Jaden got up to see who it was. I was praying that it wasn't more cameras because the last thing I needed was to start crying again. "If you don't know them, don't answer," I stated as Jaden peeked out the door.

"It's Colson," Jaden stated as he opened the door. Who's Colson? Then it hit me. I jumped out of bed and started fixing my hair. He meant Colson as in Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly. I was never going to get used to my boyfriend constantly hanging out with my idol.
