"Jaden!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, but my mouth was immediately covered with Carson's hand.

"Now be a good girl so we don't have your stupid boyfriend on our back," He said with his hand still pressed against my mouth.

I bit his disgusting hand and broke free from his grip. I tried to find a way through the crowd, but it was no use. My only option was to jump the chain that was between the crowd and the stage.

I climbed over it and Jaden immediately laid eyes on me. He sprinted over to me and pulled me onto the stage, but when I looked back Carson was gone. He made the smart decision to leave before Jaden could get to him.

Jaden and I immediately went off stage before I told him anything. "Are you okay?" Jaden said as he wiped away a tear.

"Not really," I cried into his shoulder.

"What happened?" He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"It doesn't matter," I said as another tear fell down my cheek. "Just hold me for a minute."

"Evie, it matters to me. Please tell me."

"It was just some stupid guy," I stated. "It doesn't matter, I'm fine."

"Did he hurt you?"

"Not physically."

"Then what- Oh my God," Jaden was getting angry and I could tell. "Tell me he didn't."

"I wish that I could," I said as I wiped away another tear. "It's over. Please just relax."

"Who the Hell did this to you?" Jaden was more than angry, he was infuriated. I don't know if I've ever seen him as angry as he was right now.

"Jaden, will you please relax?"

"Don't tell me to fucking relax, Evie! Who was he?!"

"It doesn't matter," I said through my tears.

"Yeah, it fucking does! I'm going to beat his ass!"

"Jaden," I said as I grabbed his hands and looked into his eyes. "I love you, but you are taking this way too far. After the concert, we can go file a police report and handle this legally. Just go out and finish your set, please."

"I don't care if it's legal or not, I'm going to rock his shit. He had no right to touch you in any way. He deserves to-" Jaden was interrupted by Kells who came up behind me. He obviously had no idea what was going on.

"Jaden, what the Hell?! You can't just walk off stage!" He was obviously mad that there was nothing happening on stage, but I'm sure he was going to be even more mad when he found out what happened. "Evie, are you crying? What's going on?"

"Some guy got to her and she won't tell me who it was," Jaden informed him.

"Evie, who the fuck was it?! I'll go beat his ass right now," Kells exclaimed.

"Will you guys calm down for ten seconds, please?! Let's just make it through the concert and then we can handle this. Jaden, please go finish your set. I don't care if you go out there and sing about how much you hate people. Just do something!"

"Fine, I'll go perform. Just promise me that you won't leave Kells' side until I'm done."

"I promise," I said as I pecked him on the lips with a light smile.

He went back out on stage and finished the rest of his songs. The energy obviously wasn't the same, but he finished it and I was proud of him for that. The whole time, he was thinking about me and our current situation, but he still finished off strong.
