It was so weird the Machine Gun Kelly knocking on my door was just a normal thing now. I had more followers than him on pretty much everything, but he was still my favorite musician. We just aren't going to tell Jaden that part.
Colson walked into our room and sat down on the edge of the bed. He looked almost worried, but that didn't even faze me. I was just trying my absolute hardest not to start fan-girling.
It was quiet for a second, but then Colson spoke up, "Can you sing?"
"Me?" I was so confused. "Hell no!"
"That is such a lie," Jaden stated from behind me.
"Why does it matter?" I asked with all of my confusion still circling around in my head.
"Halsey canceled, so we don't have anyone to sing Forget Me Too," Colson said with a sigh.
"And you want me to do it?" I questioned.
"Yeah, if you're down."
"Can't you just play the song in the background or something?"
"We could, but it just ruins the song. If you can sing then it works a lot better."
"I can't sing though."
"I heard you in the shower, you're really good Evie," Jaden voiced.
"I might be fine in the shower, but I'm definitely not good enough to perform with Machine Gun Kelly!" I stated.
"Evie, will you just trust me? You can do it," Jaden said as he squeezed my hand.
"Jaden! You guys have both been training your voices for years and I have literally no experience singing. Singing is your thing!"
"Come on, Evie. Do it for me," Jaden said as he looked straight into my eyes.
"I hate that that works," I started. "That is the cringiest thing you could say, but it works. I'll do it, but don't expect me to be good."
"Also, I need another favor," Colson started. "I have a dress change after I sing Jawbreaker, so can you fill the time?"
"You want me to sing?" I asked. "I don't have any songs."
"You can sing literally anything. What's your favorite song of mine that you know?"
"Probably either Rap Devil or 27."
"27 it is," Colson spit out immediately.
"Seriously? It was one thing when I was singing just a verse, but a full four minute song is a little crazy for me," I stated.
"You can have Jaden sing something with you if that would make you feel better."
"Do you want to?" I asked, looking up at Jaden.
"Yeah, I'll do it," He said as he bent down and placed a kiss on my lips.
"You know 27, right?" I asked as I broke the kiss.
"Mostly. I'm just glad you didn't go with Rap Devil. I'm literally the worst rapper on the planet," Jaden laughed.
"Just make sure that you are at the stadium a few hours early," Colson stated.
"Oh yeah, we know," Jaden started. "We're gonna leave here in like half an hour."
"Are you going to- " I didn't hear the last part because of Jaden. He shoved me backwards onto the bed and started planting kisses all over my lips. "Seriously?" Colson said from the corner.
"Jaden, what are you doing?" I laughed.
"This is payback," Jaden said, breaking the kiss for a second. "Kels is constantly making out with Megan whenever we are trying to have a conversation."
"Fine," Colson said as he started walking towards the door. "I'll see you at the stadium."
He walked out the door and Jaden didn't say a single thing, and neither did I. Jaden just kept kissing me and it was so refreshing to have a bit of relaxation after the week I had had.
"I can't sing," I said, breaking the kiss again.
"You already committed, no going back now," Jaden said as he pressed his lips back against mine.
"I love you," I laughed.
"I love you too, baby," Jaden smiled. "Do you want to get going?"
"I'm literally terrified," I said as I sat up off the bed.
"Don't be scared, you should be excited," He said as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "It's all going to go perfect, I promise."
I might start updating again...
