We finished the show and drove straight to the police station to report what had happened. The police went out and had him arrested immediately and they informed us that he was going to be locked up for a long time.

Jaden's guitar player had an incident, so he had to rush over to his hotel and make sure he was okay. After Jaden left, I was all alone in my room and I was getting a little bit nervous. My anxiety was definitely increasing, especially after what had happened at the concert.

My first thought was to call Jaden, but I didn't want to bother him while he was checking on his friend. I started to think who I could call.

Colson. I started scrolling through my phone until I got to Kells' name. I dialed his number and just hoped that he would pick up so I didn't have to stay in my room all alone.

It rang a few times before he finally answered. "Hey Evie, what's up?"

"Hi, sorry it's probably really random to call this late at night. Jaden had to leave and he probably won't be back for another hour. Is it okay if I come hang out in your room for a little bit, just until Jaden gets back?" I said into the phone.

"Yeah that's totally cool, just come on over," He said from the other end of the phone.

"Thank you so much, I'll see you in a minute," I hung up the phone and walked out to Colson's room.

I knocked on his door and he opened it in seconds. "Come on in," He smiled.

"Thanks, I just don't really feel safe all alone anymore."

"It's really not a problem, you are welcome to come over whenever you need to," He said as he sat down on the sofa. "Is there anything you want to talk about?"

"I don't know," I started. "I'm just overwhelmed I guess."

"From the tour?" He questioned.

"The tour, Josh, my mom, all of the hate, I'm just done with all of it! And now I'm supposed to bring another person into this world and I can't even figure out my own life. It just feels like the whole world hates me and I don't want to mess up my child's life. I don't want them to feel the way I do," I said as a tear started flowing down my cheek.

"Come here," He muttered as he pulled me into a hug and I rested my head on his chest. "Evelyn Pierce, you are going to be an amazing mother. You are perfect exactly the way you are and no one should ever be telling you that you need to change. You have such a bright future ahead of you and nobody can change that."

"I just don't know what to expect when this child is born," I cried.

"Don't worry about it," He said, rubbing circles on my back. "Being a parent is so fucking hard, but it's so rewarding. It's nothing you can be truly prepared for. You can't be prepared for the way it feels when you bring someone in the world. It makes you want to change everything about yourself to be the best for them. My daughter is my favorite thing in this world and she's the reason that I keep trying to be the best person I can be. That child is going to change your life, Evie, but there is nothing more special."

"Do you ever regret it?" I asked as I wiped away a tear.

"Never once have I regretted Casie. She is the best thing that ever happened to me," He smiled as he pulled away from the hug.

"Thank you, I really needed that," I smiled. "Your daughter's really lucky to have you."

"I try my best," He said as he stared into my eyes. We stood there in silence just gazing into each other's eyes.

"Well, umm, I guess I'm going to head back to my room," I said with a weak smile as I walked to the door.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then," He said as he opened the door for me.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow," I walked out into the hall. "Wait, Kells!"

"Yeah?" He said as he came back to the door.

"Thank you," I smiled. "For everything."

"If you ever need anything, just give me a call," He said as he seemed to inch closer to me. "I mean it Evie. Anything, anytime, I'll be there."

"I- umm," I couldn't figure out what to say, so I just stood there as he pressed his lips against mine.
