It was almost time for Jaden and I to go on stage together and after watching Jaden's excitement I was actually starting to get excited too. I was still nervous as hell, but I was so ready to just go out there and sing my heart out.

"Alright, I need to take a short break," Kels said and the audience sounded so disappointed. "Don't worry! You aren't just going to be sitting in silence," Kels walked off the stage and came over to Jaden and I. "You got this, don't even worry about it. Just have fun."

"We'll try," I laughed as we walked on the stage with our fingers intertwined.

"I told you she would be back!" Jaden said into his microphone which made the crowd erupt.

"Jaden and I are going to play a song for you," I said into the microphone. "You all get to witness me singing in public for the very first time."

"We decided that we should just cover one of Machine Gun Kelly's songs since we have zero songs that we wrote," Jaden laughed.

"This is one of my personal favorites, it's called 27!" I could feel my nerves lower a ton. All of a sudden I wasn't even the slightest bit scared.

The music started playing and it felt like a dream. I soaked up every ounce of the moment and sang my heart out. It was at this moment that I had a realization. I finally understood why Jaden loved performing so much.

We finished the song and headed back off of the stage. The concert ended about half an hour later and I was so excited to live it all again in a few days. Today I felt more alive than I ever have and that was all thanks to Jaden.

We got back to the hotel and I had a blaring headache. I was hoping that it was just from the music because I really didn't want to be sick on the tour.

"That was incredible," I said as I sat down on the bed.

"I know. I'm so glad that we got to sing together. You have no idea how much that means to me," Jaden smiled as he sat down next to me. He placed a kiss on my lips and started moving down to my neck.

"Stop," I said, pushing him away. "Can we not do this tonight?"

"Are you okay?" Jaden was worried and I could tell.

"I just have a headache, that's all. I really just want to get some sleep."

"Is there anything that I can do for you?" Jaden seemed like he genuinely wanted me to feel better.

"Do we have any Tylenol or something?" I asked.

"Yeah, I think so," Jaden said as he started looking in the suitcase. "Here," He handed me the bottle and I took a few pills to help my head.

"Thanks," I said as I layed down in bed. I tucked myself under the covers and Jaden came and snuggled up next to me. I laid my head on his stomach and placed my head on his chest. It was surprising how much comfort he brought me as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to Jaden getting out of bed. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Something happened with Kels, I have to right now," Jaden sounded really worried, which made me really worried.

"What happened? Is he okay?" I asked, still half asleep.

"He's fine, I just have to go help him with a few things. I'll be back later," He said as he placed a kiss on my forehead. "You can go back to sleep."

"Okay, love you," I smiled.

"I love you more angel," There it was again, that nickname that gave me butterflies. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted back to sleep.

I woke up at around nine in the morning to my phone ringing. I was so tired that I didn't even bother to check the caller ID, which was probably stupid on my part. "Hello?"

"What the fuck, Evie?" Josh's voice made me shoot up out of bed.

"What?" I was really confused.

"You need to learn to fight your own battles instead of sending your boyfriend to do everything for you," Josh sounded genuinely mad and I was just genuinely confused.

"Josh, what are you talking about?" I asked.

"Jaden texted me this morning and told me that you hate me and that I should never talk to you again. It's one thing if you're the one who says it to me, but sending Jaden to do it for you is small dick energy."

"Wait, Jaden said that? Josh, I promise I never said any of that."

"Then you better go have a talk with your wonderful boyfriend because he is putting words in your mouth," Josh stated.

"Hey Josh, before you hang up. I'm really sorry for everything and I just-" Then of course, he hung up. Now I'm left with my best friend hating me still and a boyfriend that's lying on my name. Great!

On instinct, I called Jaden. He answered super quickly, as he should when his girlfriend is pissed. Of course, he didn't know how mad I was, but he was going to in about three seconds. "Hey baby," He said through the phone.

"Jaden, where are you?" I asked in a hurry. I really wanted to yell at him, but I didn't want to do it over the phone. I wanted him to be able to see how pissed off I was.

"I'm in Kels' room. It's room 536, like three doors down. Are you okay?" Jaden asked.

"I'm on my way there," I said as I hung up the phone. I marched out of the room and straight down the hall.

I walked into the room without knocking or anything and as soon as I laid eyes on Jaden, I completely lost it, "Who the fuck do you think you are?!"

"Evie, what's wrong?" Jaden seemed confused.

"What's wrong?! Josh told me what you said!" I shouted at him.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking."

"That's the problem! You are never thinking! You have fucked things up so many times that I've lost count. It's such bullshit that I have to put up with every single mistake you make and I'm so done with it!" I yelled as I started heading towards the door.

"Baby, don't go," Jaden begged.

"I'm not your baby, Jaden! You know what? We're done! I can't put up with this anymore!" I said as I went back to my room. I packed all of my things into my suitcase with tears running down my face and left the hotel.

Gotta love a cliffhanger :)
