Episode 19

Yaxuan and Chengxin hadn't met since then, and Chengxin never replied to Yaxuan's message. Even though Yaxuan was dissapointed, he was a bit relieved. There was a one week holiday announced by the school, and people weren't sure where they would go. Most of them didn't want to go to their parent's houses.

"Well I'm going home to my dad," Yaxuan told his friends with a smile while he gripped his suitcase.

"Oh yeah" Chengxin commented and put his hands around Yaxuan's waist behind him. "Let's go together."

"Huh?" Yaxuan blushed and turned around, thankful that his other friends were too busy to notice the two.

"You are my boyfriend right?" Chengxin smirked.

So he had agreed to the message but had chosen to not reply, Yaxuan thought to himself.

Yaxuan moved away from Chengxin's grip and sighed. "Well yes, but my dad doesn't even know that I'm dating and he wouldn't be happy hearing that. Or well you can pretend to be just a friend."

Chengxin shrugged. "Okay."

"Chengxin won't you go home? It's just around town." Junlin suddenly asked him.

"Nah, my parents annoy me." Chengxin answered.

Yaxuan smacked Chengxin's arm. "How can you say that? When was the last time you even visited them? You’re being an ungrateful son Chengxin," he folded his arms "I say we go to your parent’s place."

"You guys are going together!?" Yaowen asked in surprise.

"Yeah because we're..." Chengxin started.

"Yes!!!! We should all go together! I'll miss you guys too much!" Yaxuan cut him. He didn't want the others to know he was dating Chengxin, they would judge him for his bad decision.

"Haha but it's just a week," Yaowen laughed.

"I get it though, why don't you come to my apartment?" Haoxiang suggested. "The only person around will be my brother."

"That sounds fun." Chengxin agreed. "Hmm okay then. All 5 of us?"

"Yep all 5 of us."

So the boys left the school together and got a taxi. They spent some time buying food and hanging out before going to Haoxing's brother apartment. His name was Karry.

"Hey welcome guys!" Karry announced when they arrived."

"Thank you." The boys said.

"So Karry these are my friends from school." Haoxiang said.

"Well I've never seen this one before, I know them all." Karry pointed at Yaxuan in particular as the one he's never seen.

"He's my friend," Chengxin spoke up, since it was  Chengxin who had introduced Yaxuan to the table a while after the four had already become friends.

"Friend huh?" Yaxuan asked himself bitterly. Even though he didn't want to reveal his relationship with Chengxin, he somehow felt bad that Chengxin was now hiding it as well.

"Aww he's adorable, I mean it." Karry said. "I like him. Brown knitted sweater."

"Thanks," Yaxuan smiled. "My grandma knitted it for me, it's my favourite."

"So would you guys like some breakfast?" Karry asked them and they nodded. He walked to the kitchen with Haoxiang while the rest were led to the dining room.

Before Yaxuan sat, Chengxin pulled him on his lap.

Yaxuan immediately stood up fearfully. He had never had romantic contact before. "How dare you!? That's so rude!"

"That's rude!?" Yaowen asked with surprise, because he found it a simple gesture.

"This is why Yaxuan will die single," Chengxin joked.

"What's up with you two? You got a little thang going on?" Junlin asked with a laugh. "Just kidding, I know people within this crew wouldn't date."

Yaxuan pulled his own seat silently and sat next to Junlin instead. Even though he hated what Chengxin did, it still couldn't keep him from blushing. He was a fool indeed.
