The next day, the friends decided to go to a restaurant. They were now walking on the sidewalk going to the restaurant in town.
Yaowen noticed that Haoxiang was not talking to him, so he moved closer to him and playfully punched his shoulder. "What's the matter Haoxiang?"
"Nothing." Haoxiang answered coldly.
"Hey maybe after the restaurant you and I can go to the game arcade," Yaowen suggested. "You always like going there."
"I'll prefer to go home after this." Haoxiang replied.
Yaowen scoffed. "What's going on Haoxiang? Are you mad about yesterday? Or you're embarassed to talk to me because the other guys are here?"
The others could hardly hear them at the back as they were deep in conversation.
"Embarassed of what Yaowen? Does it even matter if I'm mad at you or not? Everyone else isn't mad at you." Haoxiang looked down at his feet.
"You're being childish Haoxiang." Yaowen frowned.
"Oh sure Mr. Mature, I'll take my childishness elsewhere." Haoxiang stopped. "I'm going back to the apartment."
The others didn't notice Haoxiang was gone until they turned around, seeing only Yaowen behind them.
"Hey! Where did Haoxiang go?" Chengxin asked with concern.
"Back to the apartment, he's feeling sick," Yaowen lied.
"You should have walked him back then," Chengxin told him.
The guys continued to walk and Junlin moved next to Yaowen.
"So is it trouble in paradise?" Junlin asked suggestively.
"I don't even get it. I didn't do anything. Maybe he's just mad about something else." Yaowen replied.
"Don't try to understand why he's mad, just apologize." He told him.
Yaowen rolled his eyes. "For what?"
"Yeah just do that and he'll forgive you for whatever you didn't do." Junlin chuckled.
"I should apologize right now? I can try to catch up with him." Yaowen said.
"Right now bro."
Yaowen turned around and started running back. He ran until he saw Haoxiang then started running towards him. Once he arrived, he put his hand on Haoxiang's shoulder panting.
"Haoxiang I'm sorry for whatever you're mad about and you should seriously grow up." Yaowen said to him.
Haoxiang ignored him and felt more offended than before.
"Stop embarassing me in public, it's not fair. Can't we talk in private!?" Yaowen screamed.
"Oh I'm embarassing you? You're already doing a good job yourself." Haoxiang forced a chuckle. "Now leave me alone." He put on his earphones.
Yaowen felt angry and glared at him. "Fine I'm leaving. I don't need you." He started to run back where he came from.
"Just don't lie to people that you love them when you don't," Haoxiang said as if Yaowen could hear. He took a deep breath and crossed the road.
