Haoxiang looked down at his cellphone and sighed. ‘What? It’s been hours and Yaowen has still not let me out?’ he asked himself. He decided to open his social media again to distract himself, and he refreshed it one more time. He noticed a post from Yaowen hanging out with his friends again, this time they were watching TV happily. It was like Yaowen didn’t even care.
A while later, Yaowen unlocked the door and walked in. ‘I wasn’t going to let you out this early but I need a nap.’ He dropped himself on his bed.
Haoxiang threw his phone at him angrily. ‘Why do you want to play with my feelings!? Why did you even say those words when you knew you didn’t meaned them!’
‘What did I do now!?’ Yaowen asked in surprise then checked Haoxiang’s cellphone which was thrown at him. ‘What? You don’t want me hanging with our friends?’
‘Not when you treat me like I don’t exist!’ Haoxiang admitted angrily. ‘I don’t even know why you do this to me!’ he looked around the room. ‘Where’s my other slipper!? Never mind, I can walk like this.’ Haoxiang started to walk out of the room.
‘Wait, seriously!?’ Yaowen got up from his bed and started to follow him. ‘You’re the one who didn’t want to hang out with us, how can you blame me for this!?’
Haoxiang angrily turned to Yaowen and slapped him. ‘You still don’t understand what kind of jerk you are.’
‘You’re the one being a jerk ever since…’ Yaowen couldn’t finish his sentence. He simply turned away to walk back to the room, rubbing his reddening cheek.
‘I should have known better than to trust him.’ Haoxiang said to himself and walked to the front door, wanting to get a breather.
