Episode 22

Haoxiang started to feel impatient of waiting. He was sitting on his bed and had spent some time on his laptop.

Finally, the door opened and Yaowen walked in.

"Hey what took you so long?" Haoxiang asked him.

"I just got a bit busy." Yaowen sat next to him. "Hope I didn't make you mad." He pouted.

Haoxiang chuckled and pinched his cheeks. "You are so cute. Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure." Yaowen answered. Haoxiang made space for him by moving away from the edge and letting him sit on the bed next to him.

Haoxiang asked what movie Yaowen would like to watch and Yaowen said any, so Haoxiang put  Black Widow.

When the movie started, Haoxiang and Yaowen were both enjoying it. But slowly, Yaowen started to get uncomfortable. He felt uncomfortable being here with his friend whom he didn't like whom he was now actually convinced liked him.

"What's the matter?" Haoxiang asked Yaowen next to him when he noticed he was now hardly looking at the movie.

"Nothing I just want to use the bathroom." Yaowen immediately stood up and Haoxiang nodded.

"I'm sorry Haoxiang, I don't want this to go too far." Yaowen said to himself as he walked out of the room and closed it.

After a few minutes, Haoxiang noticed that Yaowen had still not returned. A few minutes turned into 15 minutes and he was now wondering where Yaowen was.

He got off the bed and walked into the bathroom. "Yaowen?" He asked. There was no answer.

He finally opened the toilet door and it was empty. In the living room, he could hear Yaowen laughing with all his other friends.

Haoxiang left the bathroom and sighed. "I guess Yaowen sees me just like everyone else does: unloveable."

Haoxiang returned to his room and sat back down on his bed. He tried to continue the movie on his own but he couldn't, so he just shut the laptop and went to sleep.
