Recap

"It wasn't that funny." Ronan mumbles, sounding really put out.

"Ronan, Ronan, Ronan," I say, "If you want to play with the big kids, you have to continue to play."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel Ronan tense from behind me at the sound of his words being used against him.
Ollie just looks at us again. "Is there something I'm missing here?"
I turn to see a small smirk tugging at the corner of Ronan's lips.
No. He wouldn't, would he? Surely not.
"Well," he says, and I know that he would, and is.
"- Ronan," I say with a piercing glare directed at the boy in question, "has been trying to convince me to come to his appointment with a proctologist."
Ollie bent over laughing, and was in the same stomach warping, throat aching, tear prompting laughing position I was in a few minutes ago.
"You - have - to - see - a - " he burst out laughing again, "butt doctor?"
Yep. Poor Ronan.
Speaking of, the boy was bright red, gritting his teeth and tensing the arms which were still incasing me.
"Ronan? You can let go now." I said, and tried to wrestle out of the cage.
Feeling my struggle, he turned his eye towards me, fixing me in place with one steely glare.
"Actually," he growled, addressing Ollie, "Alex has to buy some new tampons. I was supposed to remind her. Isn't that right, babe?"
Ollie wasn't laughing anymore. He didn't even look bothered.
I just shrugged and said, "I'm not ashamed."
I looked at Ronan again, and could tell he still thought he had a chance at winning the banter.
"But," I continued, feeling very evil and powerful, "Do you want to go before or after the proctologist? Your appointments tend to over run."
With that, I was dragged away from a chuckling Ollie by the wrist. I would probably get a lot of verbal abuse for this, but I just didn't care. I was too busy glowing with my victory against Sir Too-Good-To-Associate-With-A-Victim-Unless-Bound-By-Contract. The third.
"You," he growled out, "are going to be punished for that."
I snorted, "Punished? Ollie was right about you reading Fifty Shades."
"Are you testing my patience?" He asked, finally looking back at me.
"No, Mr Grey."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Ronan?"

"Yes?"

"What are you doing?" I ask, looking at the string.

He sighed. "Just be quiet."

Nope. "I demand to know why I'm being tied up!"

"You were disrespectful."

"You're not my dad, you know." I roll my eyes for probably the hundredth time today.

"No," he whispers under his breath, "I'm your fake boyfriend."

I groaned, "That's worse!"

He just chuckles.

"Ronan?" I ask tentatively.

"Yeah?" He doesn't stop fiddling with the string.

I sigh. "I don't think a bit of string tied to my pinkie is going to stop me doing anything."

After I was frogmarched away from Ollie, Ronan wouldn't stop grumbling about how disrespectful I was, when he was trying to be a good fake boyfriend and ask me out... Then, when he started talking about 'punishment' I couldn't help but make one Fifty Shades reference too many.

Oops?

So now I'm sitting back at the table, while my friends chuckle at the small piece of string attaching my pinkie finger to Ronan's. Apparently this is my 'punishment'.

"-and," I continued, "how is this my punishment again?"

"You're being forced to spend time with me."

No. No no no no no no no no no NO!!!

With that, I bolt out of the seat, trying to run away from the control-freak next to me. However, a small tug on my finger keeps me fairly close.

Isabelle laughs, "Embrace it Alex, don't fight it!"

"You guys are supposed to be my friends, and you are laughing at my bondage to him?"
I growl out, gritting my teeth in annoyance.

"Don't act as if you don't love it, babe." Ronan winks at me, just fuelling my anger.

However, I won't react.

Nope, I'll just smile sweetly and put up with this god damned contract.

"We're not even dating yet, Isla." I hear Ronan say.

"Not yet - I totally ship Alan!!!" She squeals.

This is going to be a long business deal.
