Chapter 28(The Funeral Drama)

Shawna pov.

Today was kind of depressing know what it is depressing. I mean it's Danny funeral plus the kids are mad at Chris because he cheated and created a child. Zania took it harder than Zach because she is a daddy's girl and Zach was really pissed because not only does he has a daughter but newsflash I'm pregnant now. I got out the bed and put on a black dress and some flats I'm not doing heels today. I dont want heels to sink in the grass when we go to the burial. I guess I woke up late because everybody was dressed and downstairs doing their own thing when I got down there. Here goes a long day.

Zachary pov.

I was up before everybody. When my momma came downstairs she took a deep breathe and made herself some cereal. When she was done we got in the car and made our way up north to the funeral. Danny grew up, up north so the church he grew up in up there is where the funeral will be. I kinda hope we are late because I dont want to go to the wake. It was so silent plus my momma turned the radio off so it was awkward. I was gone put my headphones in but my dad got out to pump the gas and my momma started talking.

Shawna- Look I know yall mad at him hell i am too but your father needs our support today Danny was like his brother he cant cry on his own shoulder so please put our bullshit aside for Danny

Niah- Ok then Zachary Im sorry honestly your my best friend nothing should come in between us

Me- Agreed

We hugged and our mom smiled.

Zania pov.

The rest of the car ride wasnt so awkward because of the talk we had plus daddy gave me some chips so im good.

We finally got to the church and I really was looking for Terrell. After school that day we got in a argument it was messy too. I know today he need his girl to hold it down so I searched for him. He was by his dad's casket and was crying but staring at his dad. I hate the wake but I know he needs me.

Me- Hey baby

Tank- If you wanna argue then leave me alone not today Niah

Me- Im sorry ok all im concerned about is you...now come on other people want to see the body you made a line

He looked back and took my hand. He hugged everyone and thats when I saw Mary at the casket. I never was cool with her she just Zach friend so I looked at Zach and he caught my signal so he went to her.

The Service went on and a lot of people came, but not Tank's mother. Everyoe comforted each other and now the casket is going down as people leave to go to the repass.

Chris pov.

We stay at the burial until his casket was all the way down. Tank was pretty weak but Zania was by his side the whole funeral just like her mother was for me. London looked down the whole and shook her head. Tank got up and hugged her.

London- My brother is gone...he gone
She just broke down. It was hard to watch I decided to join the hug next thing you know its a group hug we all let go and start to walk back to the car. I stayed though. Thats when I saw Angela and she was trying to catch me attention

Me- What!?!?!

Angela- Shh

Me- I dont like you woman what you want

Angela- I was being undercover I saw the whole funeral London still mad at me...Chris I know you dont like me but I didnt do this I promise you I didnt

Chris- Why should I believe you

Angela- Because Im human...I loved him so much I would never....you have to believe me

Me- What happened then...WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKE MY BROTHER NOT BE HERE TODAY HUH ANGIE

Angela- Shut up fool look Danny's past caught up with him, I was not the target he was as he moved me out the way he got shot. His lungs were filling up with blood and I almost (crying) I almost safed him but he stopped me. He said 'now be the real Angela that I fell for and love Terrell love him for real not to hurt me...I love you angie and always did'. I kept telling him to let me go so I can drain the blood out his lungs so he could breathe but he resisted. I swear Chris it wasn't me

Chris- What ever Angela I have to go

Angela- Please Chr-

Londin- Chris Shawna left so you can ride with me with her being pregnant she was hungry

London finally looked at Angela and Angela looked done for the first time. She just stayed quiet.

London- Why are you here you are the reason he is dead you hoe ass bitch go away never (crying) ever come back you hurt my family enough

Angela- Kendall did this that name should sound familiar to both of you if yall would hear me out I can explain. Im next......believe me for once god damnit I love Danny more then myself I would never cause this

London whipped her tears and started walking back to her car.

London- Well I want to know why the hell you brung up Kendall so lets go.
