(Art by me, you know the drill)

As the evening went by, the three siblings settled down, finishing their food and huddling up on the worn green couch.

It had been a long 12 years for the brothers, so much had happened without Spooks even knowing, where did they even begin?

A random game show with a robotic host was playing quietly on the TV in the background, giving off a dim lighting, a thick blue fleece blanket was covering the three of them, Payrus in the middle, Sans and spooks cuddled up either side of him. It was comfortable.

Papyrus had earlier told Spooks how he was training to join the Royal guard, having already graduated from the cadets. Spooks of course was beyond proud of him, little Pumpkin was all grown up now. He told her of his many friends, which was basically just the head of the Guard, Undyne, who sounded pretty cool. She apparently lived in Waterfall, which Spooks had rarely traveled through, choosing to bypass it by teleporting straight to Hotland or even choosing the river person.

Sans had taken up her spot as a sentry almost as soon as she left, not wanting to do much else, as lazy as that may seem. He wanted to chose a more laid back job, telling her how he'd also volunteered at the lab too, but that apparently fell through after one of the Royal scientists fell into the core and everyone was laid off. Only one scientist resides there now. Sans seemed bothered by this, but wouldn't elaborate.

Then again, Sans wasn't really one to talk about his issues. He never had been. It was one of the things Spooks most struggled with when he was a baby bones. I guess things were different now though.

She hadn't brought up the predicament they were all in regarding their age and the huge time gap. Of course, she would in time, she just weren't entirely sure how to tell them that whilst it had only been 3 or 4 days for her, it had been 12 years for them and she was currently still at 17 years old. Heck, she's not even an adult skeleton yet, but look at all the responsibilities she has.

The TV seemed to snap her out of her thoughts as it turned itself off onto standby. Both her brothers seemed to have fallen asleep, sans obviously quicker than papyrus. It wouldn't surprise her if he had fallen asleep the second he sat down.

Deciding to join them rather than disturb them by moving, she rested her head a bit further in the crook of her tallest brother's shoulder and closed her eyes.

But sleep could not come to the Skellie.

No matter how hard she tried she just couldn't force herself to drift off. She tried counting bones, tried making up scenarios, she even tried telling herself a story. But none of it worked.

Hours seemed to go by before she decided enough was enough.

She gently manoeuvred herself from off the couch, tucking her brothers back in to the blanket, making sure they were comfortable, before getting up and heading to the kitchen.

The kitchen itself no longer had a door, just a plain doorway, which wasn't very handy considering she wanted to turn the light on without waking the other two up.

She pouted in defeat little, before deciding to just simply use the moonlight from outside as her guide.

Opening up the fridge she found there to be multiple different tupperware labelled spaghetti, all seemingly untouched. She raised an eyebrow to herself, turning to look at the taller skeleton with a little smirk. Cute.

Atleast some things never change.

She closed the fridge, deciding to search the cupboards instead.

There were various different ingredients for spaghetti, and a butt load of empty and full ketchup bottles. Oh sans.

She sighed, closing the cupboard too.
