Waking up from a dreamless slumber, Spooks stretched and yawned, cracking her back as she did so.

Getting up from her messy bed, which dawned approximately 6 blankets and an equal amount of pillows, she tiredly slipped on some slim grey sweatpants and a long sleeved plain black t-shirt which she essentially lived in.

Rubbing her eyes, she made her way from her room to her younger brothers' room.

Their room consisted of a small car bed with fancy star patterned bedding, and a regular twin bed with plain grey bedding, a few shelves and a shared wardrobe for their limited clothing.

Both of the younger boys remained in their beds, the older of the two flat out sleeping, whilst the youngest bounced on his own bed, holding his fluffy bunny plush close to his tiny ribcage.

His eyes lit up with joy as he spotted her, climbing down from his bed with a quick kick of his little legs which were covered by a set of bunny printed pyjamas which were slightly too big for him, but he'd grow into them eventually.

"Morning papy, how did you sleep?" Spooks asked, picking up the baby bones and placing him on her ecto covered hip.

The smaller skeleton squeaked with happiness and have her his biggest smile. Not fully literate yet, the youngest communicated the best way he could, which usually meant squeals and smiles and occasionally loud yells of "NYEH". Not sure where he got that from.

Spooks giggled lightly at her youngest brother before whispering to him. "Wanna help me wake up Bro?"

Of course, papyrus' face was determined, he wiggled his way from Spooks' hip and raced over to his brothers bed.

Luckily Sans' bed frame was lower to the ground, Sans had a tendency to roll off the bed in his sleep, and due to his low HP, it wasn't worth the risk.

Plus not only that, it meant if need be, papyrus was able to quickly get up onto Sans bed should he have any nightmares or even if he just felt like it.

Papyrus climbed up with little 'nyeh's in place of tired grunts, and began shaking his brother eagerly to wake him up.

Spooks smiled at the sight, adoring her brothers with all of her soul. She knew as soon as they were brought home that she would give everything into protecting them, even if it meant giving her own life, she wouldn't hesitate. Gaster had brought Sans home first, unexpectedly. Though she should have noticed something was up after he took a circle of bone marrow from her own hand. It was worth the pain. If it meant her brother had a chance at life she would give much more. Papyrus the same, and she was sure Sans would too.

Once to two met, three years after sans was brought home, they were almost inseparable. Sans had the baby bones attached to him at all times and would often throw a fit when papyrus was taken from his grasp.

Even now, two years on, Sans still had a close eye on papyrus and would get upset if he couldn't keep him in his sight. Their bond was stronger than blood.

Sans groaned as his brother shook him, throwing his hands around and papping papyrus on his little skull gently.

"'m up! 'm up!" he chuckled, sitting up in his bed, which was messier than Spooks', before throwing a stray pillow her way.

She picked up said pillow, fluffing it up before walking over to the side of his bed and placing it back where it belonged.

"what do you fancy for breakfast?" she asked, sitting on the end of the small bed.

"getti!" papyrus squealed, excitedly. This made both Spooks and Sans chuckle.

"you'd have spaghetti for every meal if you could paps, perhaps pancakes instead?" Sans suggested, getting out of his bed.
