A human? This soon?

Spooks couldn't believe her non-existent ears.

Bonnie in front of her looked as though she had been through hell and back. Her paws were shaking, her body trembling in what Spooks could only assume as fear. Her usually tanned complexion now a pale comparison. Bonnie's perky ears twitching, listening for something that weren't there.

Why did she look so terrified? Surely if a human came through the underground that was a good thing right? Y'know, The prophecy stated that 'An angel from above will descend, and the underground will go empty.' Unless that wasn't meaning the way she had interpreted it.

"What do you mean, people went missing?" Spooks questioned, referring to Bonnie's earlier statement.

Bonnie sniffed once more, her little rabbit nose wiggling gently as she did so. Her eyes red and puffy with tears. She looked as though she had been crying for a while.

"I saw it with my own eyes... Their screams, oh how horrific they were. There was so much dust. I didn't know what to do so I hid. I am a coward." She sobbed, her ears drooping low behind her head.

Spooks held Bonnie's paw gently between her boney fingers, tracing her knuckles slowly.

"We've only been gone a few days.. when did this start happening?" Spooks led them both over to the table and chair set, a few of the chairs had been upturned in the scurry.

They both sat opposite each other, their hands joined together in front of them on the table. The wind outside throwing around the snow and leaves through the air.

"The day you left was the day the rumours started. That a human had fallen. People were really excited, everyone believed that it was finally time to be set free... Then news started coming in about dust coming from the ruins. We didn't want to believe it at first but then I myself noticed less customers coming into the library. My Aunties also noticed their businesses gaining less. I first thought it was coincidence. But then I heard from your brother. The guard were preparing for a fight. That was the last I heard from anyone." She explained, her voice wavering as she spoke. The fear was evident in her tone.

Papyrus?

"You saw Papyrus? Where was he heading to?" Spooks questioned, concerned for the safety for her brother.

Before Spooks was allowed her answer, both Error and Sans burst through the door, sans first, error in tow.

"Spooks we gotta go right now, It's Papyrus." Sans huffed, out of breath like he had been running. For as long as she'd known sans, he never ran. Ever.

Spooks got up quickly, her chair squeaking against the wooden flooring.

"Kid, this is your only chance, you might not get another one to save him. Doing this will change the timeline, but he needs you." Error huffed also.

Spooks didn't need to hear more. Her, Sans, Error and Bonnie all ran out into the treacherous snow and wind.

"Where is he?!" She shouted in fear to the glitchy skeleton.

"Entrance to waterfall. He will try to befriend the human, he will fail. You have to stop them before either of them get their way." Error explained. There was a breath of silence.

"Wait, either?" Bonnie asked, holding onto the back of Spooks' jacket tightly.

Error sighed deeply as they hurried on to where Papyrus was in need.

"There are two of them, sharing a body. The owner of the body isn't in control, but that doesn't make them innocent. Neither of them are innocent, don't let them fool you. Ink is going to hate me for telling you this, but I never got the chance to save my papyrus, the least I can do is help you save yours." He grumbled, his voice glitching feverously at the name of his lost brother.
