Emily's POV
We saw how the cashier girl couldn't take the pain any longer. Making me feel even more shocked than before.
We just saw someone die.
And because of me.
Suga had his back facing us so we couldn't see his face, but I saw him looking out to the front door and there was another gunshot. He was quick so he was able to somehow dodge it, and I heard Hoseok yell "SUGA C'MON!"
We were at the back door, and I saw Suga placing gently the body of the girl on the floor, and he came running to us, his eyes filled with tears.
We heard yet again, another gunshot and we ran for our lives.
"THAT'S RM WITH TAE!" Hoseok said as he pointed to a car that was almost by our side.
Either RM or Tae stoped the car when Hoseok waved at him and we all hoped into it as quickly as we could.
We Suga who was the last one to hop into the car, closed the door.
"DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!" Hoseok told him quickly and the guy who was driving looked back at us and looked at me for a moment, before nodding and driving as fast as he could.
Tae's POV
I never thought I would have to save my friends from something as big as gunshots. We could hear them from the distance we were at before seeing them and we knew that they were in the same place those gunshots were fired.
"Okay, what the hell is going on?" Joon asks, as he looked back at them. I could only see the girl from my review mirror and she was looking outside, she looks pale.
Suga and Hoseok both looked at the girl, as if telling her to explain, but I could tell she was out of it.
"Um, this is JK's sister." Hoseok answered for her, making my eyes go wide.
"Jungkook has a sister?" Joon asks.
"Yes. His dad was keeping her on the basement." Hoseok explained further. "I knew I couldn't trust him so I went back down to the basement, even when he already showed me the room and I heard someone crying, it was her. But I didn't know at the time, I just knew I had to come back and save her. JK has no idea probably."
"Okay, I'm still confused. How long have you been on the basement for?" Joon asks the girl, now I saw her looking at him, but her mind was elsewhere.
"I-I don't know, what day is it?" She asks.
"13th of July 2016." Joon told her, making her eyes go wide.
"Um, then I was there for a month." She replied and looked back at the window.
Suddenly, we heard Suga crying, making me realize that he hasn't said anything since coming in.
"Suga, what's wrong?" I asked him as I kept driving.
"A-A girl, d-died." He said, as now that I turn around, slowing a bit to be able to see him, he was covered in blood.
"What?!" Joon asks.
"She was a f-fan, at the cafe, she knew who we were but she promised not to say anything and she was so nice. She was so young. S-She died." Suga explained.
"Oh Suga." Joon said, and I saw how Hobi hugged him.
"It wasn't your fault."
My friends just witnessed someone die, but not just anyone, a fan died.
I even feel sad, even though I didn't knew her, she supported us.
"I-i have to get out. Could you please stop the car?" The girl who apparently is Jungkook's sister, said.
"Wait, why?" Hoseok asks. I saw her through the review mirror again and she had tears falling down her face.
"Please please stop the car." I made sure that no one was following us a while ago and so I stoped.
She got down and I parked the car.
"Wait, Emily!" Hoseok said as he hoped out of the car running to her, who was actually running as well.
"She must be terrified." RM said, and I nodded agreeing with him. Suga was still crying, so I hoped out of the driver's seat and came to seat next to him.
"Hey, everything will be fine." I told him, but he shook his head.
"Someone already died and it was Jungkook's father who killed her, she was innocent." Suga said, while still crying.
"I can't believe Jungkook had a father like that." Joon said.
"How will we solve this one?" Yoongi asked.
"I don't know." I said to him, "But we'll be together every step of the way."
He looked at me and nodded, while letting me hug him more.
Hoseok's POV
"HEY HEY STOP!" I yelled at Emily who was running for her life, as if she was running from me.
"JUST LEAVE! I DON'T WANT YOU ALL GETTING HURT BECAUSE OF ME!"
"STOP PLEASE, IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT!" I was able to caught up with her and hold her arm tightly so she stoped, and she was actually crying while running, and when I stoped her, her whole body stoped abruptly, and she let herself fall onto my body.
I wrap my arms around her, trying to calm her down.
After a few moments, letting her cry, I tried shushing her, passing my fingers through her hair.
"This isn't your fault, okay? We want to help you because you are Jungkook's sister, we all care a lot for each other since we are like family, which means that you are also like family to us now." I told her, and she was calming down a bit. "I was the one that dragged everyone into this, if anyone's fault it's mine."
She separated from the hug, now more calmed down and looked at me. "Why did you saved me?"
She looked straight into my eyes for the first time, making feel something different inside of me.
"I couldn't just leave you there, even if I didn't knew who you were." I said to her and now I could tell how close we actually are, but I didn't want to move backwards.
"Thank you." She told me, and I could tell she was being sincere.
There was a moment of silence, as we looked at each other, but surprisingly, it wasn't awkward at all.
"Should we go back?" I asks as I looked down at her lips but looked back up at her eyes again.
"Yeah." She told me and I looked at her eyes again and for the first time she smiled at me. It wasn't the biggest smile, but I feel like we connected right now, somehow.
"Let's go."
