Chapter 14.

Emily's POV 

It was terrifying. Knowing that my dad already suspected I was here, it terrified me. 

I feel bad that Jungkook thought it was his fault, because it isn't, he only wanted to help and well... meet me. 

"This number has been calling me none stop. But I don't know who it is." Said Hoseok. 

"Can you show me the number?" I asks. For some reason, I decided to ask him that. And it's funny because at the same time, Jungkook said

"Block them." 

Hoseok looked at me and showed me the number. 

It was mom. 

I took it from him and answered the phone. 

"Emily don't-" Jungkook said, as he tried to take the phone away from me but I stoped him. 

"Hey mom." I said and he stoped immediately. 

"Oh my God honey, what happened? I'm already in Korea, but I need you to tell me where you are." She told me and my heart began to beat fast. 

"Mom, I don't think you should've of come." 

"What? Why not? We can go back to our town and you can be save." 

"Mom-" 

"I'm already here anyway, so you can't stop me from coming to you." She told me and I could hear her going inside a car. 

"Wait, you just got here?" 

"Yes, I'm taking a taxi, tell me where you are." 

"Mom, is it a normal taxi from the airport or..?" 

Before I could finish the sentence, I heard my mom saying "DON'T! NO! EMILY!" 

My heart began to beat even faster. 

"MOM! GET OUT OF THE TAXI-" 

But it was too late. 

Shit. 

He knows. 

My hands were trembling and tears wanted to spill from my eyes. 

"What happened?" Jungkook asked as the phone slipped from my hand. 

"H-He knows." 

"He knows what?" 

"Our dad knows mom is here." 

Jungkook looked at me and when he saw the worry in my eyes, him reflected the same. 

"Shit." 

"I heard her and I think he knows we know everything." 

"G-guys-" I heard Tae say. "There are millions of black cars outside, I think we need to leave now." 

Jungkook looked at me again and I could tell he was also feeling afraid. 

"Let's go through the back, quick." Joon said. Thank God for all of these back doors, they've saved my life. 

Jungkook suddenly took my hand when he saw that I was gonna leave with Hoseok and the rest, which I actually thought he was coming too. 

"What are you doing?" I asked.

I could see the stress in his eyes but also sadness. 

"I need to stay." 

"What? No, you are coming too." I told him as I tried to pull him to the back door. 

"We will see each other again, but if I stay and Joon stays too, he might think that I still don't know and everything can stay as easy as it can."
