Emily's POV
Something happened back there with Hoseok... I don't know what it was, but we connected.
He was able to calm me down somehow, because I seriously had a panic attack. Thinking of more people getting hurt because of me, I just couldn't stand the thought.
"Is everything okay?" RM asks while looking at me and Hoseok. We both nodded.
"So, we should actually introduce you. This is Emily, Jungkook's sister, who apparently JK doesn't know about. Emily this are RM also known as Joon and this is V or Tae, or Taehyung, they are also part of the band your brother is with us." I nodded as I looked at them.
I felt weird, knowing that they knew my brother and I didn't.
"So, what's your story?" Joon asks, as we sat down outside the car. It was probably now 2am, probably the longest night I've ever had, but I'm not tired and I think neither of them are either.
I felt a bit more comfortable now, after that talk with Hoseok, I feel like I could now trust them.
"Um... well I've lived in a small town in United States all my life, you probably don't even know about it."
"Can you tell us a name?" Tae asks.
"It's called Dahlonega, there are probably like 3,000 people that live there. It's very small." I explained and they nodded, letting me continue. "I've lived with my mom since I can remember, but when I grew up I began to asks about my dad and eventually when I was old enough to understand, she told me that my dad left us and that he took away my brother. I couldn't even remember that I had a brother since they left when I was 3 months old. She told me that she tried looking for them, but they changed their names when they left so we couldn't find them."
They were shocked by my explanation and I began to feel my throat close as I thought of my mother.
"My relationship with my mom has never been the best. She is always working or traveling and when she was home, we only fight because she hated that I wasn't the most social kid at school, I hate going to parties and any kind of stuff like that. She wasn't okay with that and she always judged me for my decisiones. I never felt like she really liked me nor treated me as her daughter." I keep explaining and they were listening to me carefully.
I was too afraid to look at their faces, so I just looked elsewhere while explaining my story to them.
"So I decided that once I graduated school, I would look for my brother and my father. I had to hire a private detective and I had the address of where they lived, or at least I thought I did, I guess it was the wrong one, but I know that now because my dad actually knew somehow that I was coming here. He planned all of this, kidnapping me and making me be the way of payment for whatever or whoever he is working for. Somehow it all worked out perfectly for him. But he told me something that made me think that everything I was told by my mother was a lie."
There was silence as I felt my eyes watering. "He told me he has been looking for me everywhere and that my mother changed our names so he wouldn't find us. It's all so messed up and by the looks of it, my brother has no idea that I exist, which is weird because he was 5 when he left. I feel like he should have at least one memory of me in his head. And so, this means that my name isn't really Emily, since my mother apparently changed our names. I- I just don't know what to believe in anymore."
A single tear left my eye and I wiped it away immediately. I don't want to cry in front of them, I've done that quite enough times.
No one new what to say, I guess they weren't expecting so much.
And suddenly, I began to feel tired.
"We should go to RM's house and stay there for the night, if that's okay with you?" Hoseok asks, as no one else knew what to say.
"Yeah, it's fine. Let's go there for now."
"Are your parents home?" Suga asks.
"No, they left for a business trip. I was alone when I called Tae."
They nodded and we hoped to the car again. I sat besides Hoseok and I got the window again.
I felt myself getting more and more tired as Tae drove to Joon's house.
Not having the energy to control myself, I felt my head rest on Hoseok's shoulder. I felt him be shocked for a moment, before relaxing and actually putting his hand on my head, giving me a small message. Which was enough for me to drift off to sleep.
Hoseok's POV
When her head rested on my shoulder I wasn't expecting it, but she must be tired. I'm so tired as well, it's been the longest day of my life.
When she. was asleep and we all saw that she was, Joon looked at me. "This is insane." He told me and Suga and Tae nodded in agreement.
"I know... But how can we not help her? She is Jungkook's sister-"
"But what if she isn't?" Tae asks.
"What? Do you really think she could come up with all of these?" I was shocked that they didn't believe the story she told us. She was being serious, I could tell. She even cried.
"I mean it's crazy that Jungkook's dad is dealing with illegal stuff, but that doesn't mean that she is her daughter."
"She is, guys, didn't you saw her cry? I'm sure she wouldn't of cried if this was fake."
"We have to ask Jungkook what's going on." Suga said.
"No. Absolutely not." Joon shook his head, but I think we do have to tell JK.
"We do have to, if we don't tell him everything that we know, he might already be in danger."
Rm sigh as he looked at Tae and Tae also agreed with us.
"Fine, we'll call him tomorrow."
