Unexpected love (Completed)

Chapter 17. Part 1.

Tae's POV 

I want to understand, I think I do understand. But it still shocks me. 

How could Jimin do this? I know we are not that close to Jungkook's sister yet, but we are close to him, he is our brother. 

How could he do this? And Jin? He knows RM is also in danger. 

"We are so so sorry. Please try to understand-" Jimin tried to say, but Hobi looked so mad. 

So so mad. 

"Leave." He interrupted Jimin, making Emily surprised as well as Suga and myself. 

"What? Hoseok please-" 

"You are a danger for this mission. It's not a stupid game we would be filming in run, this is real. There are people in danger and we can't have spies in here. Leave." I've never seen him so mad. 

My heart began to beat fast for Jimin, when I saw his face terrified. 

"Hobi please, don't-" Jin tried to beg, but he was not having it. He had his arm around Emily and when Jin was getting close to him, which he happened to be at the other side of Emily, he put her behind her back. 

Jin realized what was going on as well as Jimin. 

"Hobi, okay I know I did wrong, I know you think I wanted her to get hurt, but I don't want to. I promise I won't hurt her if I stay. But just think, if we are not with you guys anymore and we actually leave, her father will figure out that we failed his mission and as you said, there are people in danger, this is not just another twisted episode in run. Our families are on the line." Jimin explained. 

Hoseok paused for a moment, while looking down at the ground, still being protective of Emily. 

But I could see in Emily's face, she wanted to say something. 

"Emily, do you want to say something?" I asks. This is all because of her, this is a situation that involves her and her family. She should be the one to decide where this goes. 

She looked at me and I could tell she was nervous to speak her mind. Maybe feeling like she couldn't come in between the fight because it wasn't her place. 

But again, this is all because of her family. 

"Um, can I really say what I think?" She asks, as she looked at Hobi and Suga, who actually hasn't said much. 

"Yeah, go ahead." I told her. She came back out from Hoseok's protective body, and faced Jimin and Jin. 

Hoseok wanted to grab her arm to pull her back, but she shook her head. 

"I understand their position." She spoke. And I could tell that she was trying hard to sound less nervous. Which is actually helping. "Imagine if your family was in danger as well Hoseok, what would you have done? I'm the target here. Everything that is happening is because of me. We can deny it as much as we want, but now that more people are getting involved, I can't let them and less their families be in danger. I know that I don't know you guys that much, but I also want to admit that it would've of been good if you two would've told us everything from the beginning. We would've of understood. At least some of us would of." 

When she said that she looked at Hobi and now she was disappointed in him for being so mad at Jimin and Jin. Now that she says that, she has a point. 

"I know how they are feeling, because my family is also in danger. I would do anything to save them and actually, I think Jin knew this because I am willing to go to that address and save them even if he kills me." That made Hoseok's eyes water. It was so quick his reaction. 

"Emily don't-" Hoseok was shaking his head. "There has to be another way. Okay, maybe I overreacted, but I never expected this from Jin and Jimin. Now I know where they are coming from, but I still can't trust them. And we can't decide anything right now." 

"You know my father will do what he said in that message. We have less than two hours now to decided what I'll do. It's my decision, and I have to go." I never pictured her so brave. All I've seen of her is kind of sad, maybe her feeling sorry for herself. 

But now my perspective have changed. 

She is the bravest person I've met. And I don't even know her that well. 

I must admit that I didn't like her at the start, but now I admire her. 

"Please don't do this." Hoseok looked broken but I knew that he also felt in his heart that there was no other way out of this situation. 

I'm kind of surprised, I knew that Hoseok liked her, but I never knew how much. 

And I think neither did he. 

I'm sure all of the others are thinking the same as me. We've never seen Hoseok so in love with someone before. 

"Sadly you have no say in this. It's my family. Knowing that your guy's families are also in danger, just makes me even more determined. One life for so many, it's worth it Hoseok." 

Hoseok's POV 

My heart began to break. I didn't knew how much she actually was able to mean to me up until this moment. 

I knew I liked her, but I didn't know how much. 

This makes me feel like I love her. 

And I haven't been able to kiss her yet nor tell her how I feel. 

When I couldn't say anything anymore, she turned around and faced Jimin and Jin again. 

"Take me to him." She told them. I just stood there, frozen. 

"Wait, we can think of something else." Suga tried when he saw I couldn't react. 

I heard her sigh as she faced us. She looked at Suga with sadness but determination in her eyes. 

"I'm thankful. Truly. I'll always be thankful for the both of you that saved me from the beginning. Specially you Hoseok. You somehow knew I needed saving before you even knew I existed." She told me and this felt like a goodbye. 

I couldn't react so she just sighs and faced Suga once again. "I owe you one as well. Probably if it wasn't for you that believed in Hoseok from the very first moment he told you the story, he would've never been able to save me on his own. So really, thank you." Suga looked sad, but he reacted and hugged her. 

Why is she saying goodbye? 

"Tae." She laughs a bit when she faced him. He smiled sadly at her as well. "I know we really didn't got to talk as much or get to know each other better. But you still wanted to help your friends, which ended up saving me. So thank you, so helping and always being here as well." Tae nodded and they hugged. 

My heart was beating fast, but I was stuck. 

Suga was trying to make me do something, but it was as if life was holding me back. 

She looked at me one last time, before she faced again Jin and Jimin. 

"Let's do this." 

"Can we go too? I mean, we can park outside a bit further away so he won't notice us-" Suga asked, as they were heading out of the kitchen. 

"It's too dangerous. I don't want anything bad to happen to either of you. It needs to be only Jin and Jimin so my father lets them go since they've done their part." Emily explained. 

"But-" 

"You guys will be okay. I was only with you for maybe 3 weeks? It wasn't that much, you'll be able to survive."
