Hayes
*Two months later*
"Look at that sexy little director" I said as I walked into the school theater.
"Whatever" Hero-Lee said.
She finally decided to help with the school play.
"Grier what are you doing here?" The drama teacher said.
"Showing my lady the support she deserves" I said as I walked up to Hero-Lee to hug her.
"Are you busy after this" I asked her.
"No were almost done. Just gotta do some finishing touches then we'll be done for the day" she said.
"Wanna come over?" I asked.
"Every time I go over your sister is mean to me" she said.
"Yeah you're right. I'm sorry. I keep telling her to quit her shit"
"Why don't you come over to my house?" She said.
"Yeah sounds good. Now if you don't mind imma watch m'lady from afar to avoid getting my ass kicked by the drama teacher" I said before kissing her cheek and walking away. I stayed in the back by the door and waited for Hero-Lee. It was already after school so I was bored and had nothing else to do to kill time.
Once she was done doing her director shit we left school and went to her house.
"Now that I think about it I haven't been in your house that much" I said as we walked in.
"Well we usually go to your house or out somewhere" she explained. We went into the kitchen where she said she was gonna make us snacks.
"Hey do you guys by any chance have any Tylenol or ibuprofen? I have a headache" I asked.
"Yeah" she said. She walked over to what I was assuming was her medicine cabinet and when she opened it I noticed multiple of those yellow prescription pill bottles.
"Whats with all the prescriptions?" I asked her as she handed me a bottle of Tylenol.
"Oh those are my moms. They're old" she said awkwardly. Suspicious.
"Okay" we went into the living room and decided to watch a movie.
"Oh shit I forgot to get us drinks" she said.
"It's okay i'll get them"I said. I got up and went into the kitchen. But instead of going straight to the fridge to get drinks I went to her medicine cabinet and opened it. Luckily for me the way her living room is set up, the couch is out of view from the kitchen. I picked up one of the pill bottles and read it.
Hero-Lee Gonzales
enzodiazepines
What the hell. I put it down and picked up another one.
Hero-Lee Gonzales
alprazolam
All the prescriptions were for her. Why would she lie to me? And why does she have so many prescriptions?
"What are you doing?" I heard from behind me. I put the bottle back and turned around and saw Hero-Lee behind me.
"Uhhh I was looking for more Tylenol. My headache didn't go away" I said trying to sound believable.
"Hayes. Did you look at the bottles?" she asked with concern.
"No?" I said more of a question.
"Fuck, this wasn't how you were supposed to find out" she said.
