"Can we stop at the store on the way?" Hero-Lee asked.
"Let me guess you need a Dr Pepper and some hot cheetos?"
"I love that you know me" she said.
"But yeah I'll stop in a little bit. I'm gonna have to fill up the tank anyway" I said. We had been on the road for only 15 minutes.
I really like this girl. She's perfect for me.
"Sounds like a plan" she said. She grabbed the aux cord and plugged it into her phone.
"Oh god are you going to play music that makes me cry" I asked.
"No. I do listen to non emo music too" she said with a laugh. She was scrolling on her phone for a few seconds before picking a song.
"Linkin Park?" I asked.
"I'm so proud of you" she said.
"I know a few things. And I thought you said you knew non emo music" I said.
"I do. Didn't say I wasn't gonna play any" she said.
We stopped at a gas station and I filled up my tank really quick.
"Wanna go get snacks?" I asked.
"Well I just realized we're not at the beach yet and I'm wearing a completely see through shirt with a bikini top under" she said.
"So?"
"So people are probably gonna stare if I go in like this" she said.
"It's fine I'll go in. You want a Dr Pepper and regular hot Cheetos?" I asked.
"The extra hot ones pleaseeeee" she said.
"Of course" I went in the store bought her snacks and some for me before paying and going back to the car.
"Ready? We're not stopping till we get there" I said.
"Yeah I'm ready"
After another 2 hours we were at the beach. We were going to be camping on the beach so we're able to drive our cars on the beach. I dropped the windows and drove to the spot we decided on.
"It's actually not that packed for a Friday night" I said.
"I haven't been here in a while" she said.
"Me and my squad come here often. Sometimes for the night and sometimes for just the day" I said as I parked.
"Oh fuck. Did you bring a tent?" She asked.
"Babyyy I got everythinggg" I said dragging the y in baby and g in everything.
"Okay good"
"Yup. A whole tent for just me and you" I said.
"Don't get too crazy" I said.
"I'm kidding" we got off the car and I saw Carter, Maggie, Matt, and Maia were here already.
"Let's go" I said as I grabbed her hand.
"Hey guys" I said.
"Sup Grier. Grier's lady" Matt said. Hero-Lee was nice and said hi to everyone.
That's one thing I love about her. She's super nice to everyone when she meets them. Well except me when we met but I was being annoying so that's reasonable.
"Who else is coming?" I asked.
"The usual. Oh and ummmm A couple other people" Carter said.
"Who?" Hayes asked.
