Chapter Four || No Limit

"Guys I can't do it. She threatened to put a spell on me" I said to the boys as they were walking out of the school.

"Sorry Grier. A deal is a deal gotta make the new emo chick fall in love with you within the next three months or you owe me $50" Carter said with a laugh.

"We can raise it to 100 or 200 just please pick a different girl. Any girl" I begged.

"Nope." he said as they all walked away.

Fuck.

I sighed in frustration when I saw Hero-Lee walking by herself out of the school. People still were moving out of her way when she walked towards them.

Dammit. What do I do?

But before I could even think of anything I was walking over to her.

"Hey Hero-Lee?" I said she turned around and saw me and rolled her eyes.

"Dude seriously. Leave me the hell alone I don't want any part of whatever it is you're trying to prove" she said.

"I'm not trying to prove anything. You just seem really cool and I'd like to get to know you better. And I don't care if you put a spell on me I still want to get to know you better" I said even though I was scared.

"Wow. That's the most romantic bullshit I've ever heard" she said with sarcasm.

"It's not bullshit. I know we literally just met but something about you has me drawn to you" I said.

"How about you draw yourself to the cheerleaders in short skirts with their tits out. I'm sorry but I don't know you therefore you have given me no reason to trust you. So I'm only gonna tell you this one more time. Leave me alone and keep me out of whatever game you're playing here" she said before she got inside her car and drove off.

I sighed before starting to walk to my car.

"Hey Grier" I heard. I turned around and saw my ex girlfriend Kristen.

"Hey Kristen" i said.

"So I see you're hanging out with that new girl. Why? She's so fucking weird" she said.

"She's not weird Kristen. She's just different." I said.

"Yeah. She's weird" she said with a laugh. I rolled my eyes before continuing to my car which was a few cars down from where Kristen was.

"Wait, Hayes" she said as I reached my car. I turned around and she was walking over to me.

"So are you going to Christian's party?" She asked.

"No I'm busy" I said.

"Come on. Hayes Grier is busy and isn't going to a party? I find that hard to believe" she said.

"I have other plans."

"With that new girl? Come on Hayes it's only a matter of time before she murders someone or puts some sort of spell on someone. Might as well leave her now before she ruins the rest of your life with some life ruining witchcraft. You'd have a better time with me at the party" she said as she got closer to me.

"You cheated on me Kristen" I said.

"I'm sorry. But I don't want him. I want you" She said.

"Sorry I don't take back cheaters" I said as I got into my car and drove off leaving Kristen there.

The next day I got dressed for school in a random nirvana muscle tank, jeans, and vans. I also put on a backwards vans hat and then went downstairs.

"Oh good. Hayes I was about to go up there and drag you downstairs for school" my mom said when I got downstairs.
