Chapter Six

the feelings.

as athena woke up she was taken aback by a hand that was playing with her hair.

the girl opened her eyes to come face to face with drew.

all she could think about was him, as she studied him she had realized she was really falling for the boy. but athena knew she couldn't, she would fuck up the friendship and the job she had worked hard to get, so she pushed her feelings away.

she looked up once more to see him, his smile. 

athena really couldn't fathom that he was real, she felt like she would just wake up any moment. before she could think anymore about the situation drew spoke up.

"good morning pretty girl." drew whispered to the girl.

she thought she could explode right there.

before she knew it, she was smiling right back at drew.

"good morning." she said as she sat up, just to realize it was just her and drew in her apartment.

" i'm sorry i fell asleep on you and i made you stay here." athena said with a frown.

" don't worry i wanted to stay."

athena gave the boy a soft smile before asking him if he wanted breakfast.

" of course, can i help?"

athena nodded as the couple went into the kitchen.

as athena started to do the dishes quickly after they had finished breakfast she felt a head on her shoulder.

"tired?" 

"mhm." the boy hummed.

" you can go lay down in my bed if you'd like, i don't mind."

"i will take up on that offer" drew said as he walked towards the girls room.

after she finished the dishes the couple had dirtied, athena decided to make her way back to her room.

walking in quietly she was met with a sleeping drew, all she could do was just stand there and watch, as creepy as that sounded he was just so pretty. athena could hear the soft snores he made, which made her feel like her stomach could explode with... butterflies?

athena had grabbed her journal and quietly sat in the corner writing about her feelings for the boy in front of her.

she then had started drawing to pass the time, looking up once in a while to check on drew.

after an hour the girl had glanced up again to make eye contact with the boy.

"hi." she said while looking at him with pure adoration.

drew had woken up about 5 minutes ago, though he was quick to realize athena was in the corner of the room.

her lips slightly ajar as she scribbled on the page, and all he could think about was her.

he didn't realize how intoxicating she would be.

everything about her was so perfect, the way she sat, the way she smelled, the way she did everything. 

he couldn't help but to stare at her in adoration.

he didn't think he could feel so strongly about a girl in such a short time.

especially a girl he barely even knew, but he could feel himself falling for her.

this morning his friends had told him to stay with her, everyone around them realized how much the pair liked each other.

but drew knew that this was his costar, and she probably didn't even like him like that.

before he could think about anything else he blurted,

" athena you're so pretty."
