Chapter Nine

the rejection.

tonight the cast had planned a little get together to celebrate the first month of filming

athena was nervous, she knew the entire cast but she was hosting the get together which meant a dozen of adults who would most likely be getting drunk, all in her apartment.

she had invited madelyn and drew to help her get ready, as the duo arrived athena had told them that they needed to go get drinks and snacks.

so the trio quickly headed out to go to the store, they had been in the store a few minutes and a few supporters of the show had came up to madelyn and drew. athena had stepped to the side to let the few people interact, some of the fans had thrown her some dirty looks but she had to remember they had no idea who she was.

the girl had gone to grab the things for the party tonight as madelyn and drew talked to other fans.

she had finished grabbing the items as she found drew and mads, then telling them that she was going to check out and go wait in the car, they obliged as athena checked out and went in the car.

she had waited awhile til the pair of friends came out of the store. 

madelyn had gave the girl an apologetic look.

drew then immediately hugged her and apologized.

"im sorry i know i was supposed to help." he said rubbing her back lightly.

"dont worry about it." she said smiling at the pair before driving home.

the trio had brought everything inside and started to set out the drinks as everyone started to arrive.

as the sun started to fall a few of the cast members had ended up on the balcony.

few of them drinking and few of the smoking, they all conversed about the show.

most of the group had decided to watch a movie, this had reminded athena of when they first met, and now they had finished a month of filming already.

although most of the group were drunk, they had all realized how touchy athena and drew had been.

as they sat down and watched the movie athena was cuddled into drew.

athena would occasionally catch the glance of jd or maddie looking at the pair cuddling.

after awhile athena had started to fall asleep so she thought this was the time to get up and have one last drink.

as she got up she had unknowingly woken up drew, apologizing quickly before walking into the kitchen.

getting a drink from the fridge athena was startled when drew had put a hand on her shoulder.

" drew don't scare me like that." she said laughing lightly.

"sorry sorry" drew said before also grabbing a drink from the fridge.

the pair had stood and talked in the kitchen for a while, talking to some of the cast members as they came and gone.

athena wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or the weed in her system but she couldn't help but stare at drew.

drew had came closer to the girl while putting his hands on her jaw.

"athena you are so pretty" drew said as he ran his thumb across her cheek.

"you're pretty too." the girl said.

drew put a piece of hair behind her ear as he cleared his throat.

"athena can i tell you something?"

"of course you can."

"i really really like you."

athena was so happy but instead of saying she liked him back, she said something she would regret.

"oh, im sorry drew, i dont really like you in that way." the girl said looking him in the eyes.
